It would be an interesting question: is the landlord on the hot seat? The software company that assists in price fixing? Both?

@AlyssaM_InfoSec I actively mentor and guide on a few communities, and I keep it to the public conversations. I don't do one on one, I don't dedicate a full time schedule to it, I don't give the solutions.

As a mentor, I'm at best a guide. Were I a teacher, I would expect a salary.

@AlyssaM_InfoSec Yes and no. Some who see themselves as "mentees", folks looking for a mentor, aren't.

I get multiple pings each end every week, asking me to mentor. They're not looking for a mentor, they're usually looking for a dedicated teacher, or someone to code for them.
