@summoningsalt I am thinking of Ken Burns style docs that use VAs to read correspondence and historians to provide addditional context. If you wanted to cover a specific forum or chat that had a huge impact, the narrated format could be really cool.
@summoningsalt The anecdotal format sounds like it would really benefit a doc about the culture of speedrunning, or about the interpersonal nature of competition in the sport, but imo a doc about a particular game or category's history is more suited to the linear scripted storytelling.
No state has a “right to exist”. Only human beings have a right to exist, and to be free from oppression. States should exist insofar as they provide freedom and liberty and a guarantee of life to people inside them.
@altammanda Have you heard of Tribulation Farce? It's a read along of the Tribulation Force book series, and they do an incredible job of unpacking the mythology/intent of the modern evangelical right. They just did an ep about the takeover of the Southern Baptist Convention, its terrifying.
@jailedamanda Speaking of, what did y'all end up switching to after The Incident? Asking because my beautiful baby boy chewed through a window screen last year and had himself a little rooftop escapade.
