Update: Still no response from @NashvilleMetro or @Granbery. At the Friday night Cultural Fest 11/17, they blocked the hallways with this signage & covered it up w/black paper. Confirmation that this signage was NOT covered up during school hours, only when parents were present.

This is heartbreaking. Not because her feelings are hurt, but because she has shut herself out from the real world so effectively that when she attempted to enter it, she lost control and was unable to regulate herself in a mature manner. She lives in a fantasy world.

Almost every child goes through some kind of identity crisis during puberty. It is deeply wrong to make them permanently infertile with “puberty blockers”.

If they still wish to transition as adults, provided they are fully informed of the risks, they can then make decisions as consenting adults.

HB1605 - to keep social ideological flags out of TN schools did NOT pass the Senate. Only 6 Nays, 13 yays and only THREE more votes were needed to pass this. Why did 12 Republicans sit this out and not vote? Here they are.
