Yesterday, you said that the accused had been arrested and that you would take them to the gallows, while you and your administration, through pressure, cremated Gulzar Singh without the family’s consent. If you truly value the Aam Aadmi, as your party’s name suggests, and consider yourself an Aam Aadmi, then take the resignation of your minister @HarpalCheemaMLA . An FIR against him will be registered anyway. You and your government are responsible for Gulzar Singh’s death, and Congress will ensure justice for Gulzar Singh.

The family of Gulzar Singh has made it clear that his last rites were carried out forcibly and without their consent after he was humiliated and allegedly forced to consume poison for questioning Finance Minister @HarpalCheemaMLA over the drug menace.

The family has demanded action against the Finance Minister and others and has announced that the ‘bhog’ ceremony will not be held until justice is delivered.

Instead of dismissing the Minister and ordering an impartial investigation, @AamAadmiParty has rewarded Harpal Cheema with a place in its PAC.

Harpal Cheema must be dismissed, a fair investigation ordered, and an FIR registered against everyone involved in forcibly carrying out Gulzar Singh’s last rites with police assistance. Justice cannot be denied.

In consultation with the Association of United College Teachers (AUCT), Punjab & Chandigarh, I worked for the Punjab Affiliated Colleges (Security of Service) Amendment Act, 2021 to strengthen service security for college teachers and protect them from arbitrary interference by authorities.

A secure teacher is essential for a strong and independent higher education system. This was an important step to protect the dignity, rights and careers of Punjab’s college teachers.

3 ਦਿਨ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਫ਼ਰੀਦਕੋਟ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਦਾ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਕਿਸ ਵੱਡੀ ਮੱਛੀ ਨੇ ਭੇਜਿਆ ਸੀ? ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਫ਼ੋਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਲੈ ਕੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਲੋਕਲ ਲਿੰਕਾਂ ਤੱਕ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕਿਉਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕੀਤੀ ਜਾ ਰਹੀ? ਉਸਤੇ ਤੁਸੀਂ ਚੁੱਪ ਕਿਉਂ ਹੋ? ਕਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਰਹੇ ਹੋ?

Arvind Kejriwal, you gave Punjab a 6-month deadline to eradicate drugs. Today, instead of answering for your government’s failure, you are running away from responsibility.

Instead of eliminating drugs, your government is suppressing every Punjabi who exposes the ground reality of the growing drug crisis.

Mohanjeet Singh protested against drugs before the CM @BhagwantMann and faced police brutality. Gulzar Singh raised the issue before the Finance Minister @HarpalCheemaMLA, faced threats, and despite serious allegations in his dying declaration, there has been neither action against the Finance Minister nor an impartial investigation.

Before coming to power, you had guarantees. After coming to power, you have only advertisements. When the ground reality is exposed, your government silences the people instead of answering them.
