Characters on TV are made up, and require drama to be interesting entertainment.
ENM comes in many shades. /1

more concerned about made up statistics. They are dangerous.
In my observation, most ENM relationships I’ve been privy too are successful.
But that’s is subjective and only my perspective.
I have bias too, so I found actual statics to debate with.

Your tiny social observation has so much bias. And is dangerous statistically.

When people are happy in private lives. It usually stays private. Statistically speaking.
The 85% is pulled out of the air. & is literally wrong. Just a simple search can see that.

By definition both mediums make more money by showing drama rather than success or quiet happiness.
They have bias, and so do you.

@TheDejaKing @Slatzism Taxes, home buying, career politics. All are monogamy leaning. It is harder to be ENM socially in our political climate. Our society takes monogamy as a default, not a choice. And actively ostracizes/penalises those who choose ENM a perceived norm.
A norm of 49%.
