In life, shit happens.
A friend dies.
A car accident.
A bad business year.
You lose family, you make an investment loss, you get some random chick pregnant.
Shit happens.
It is life. All you can do is adapt and move on.
The last thing you want to do is keep regurgitating past negative emotions.
This too shall pass.
The good and the bad.
Marcus Aurelius was right when he said the crowd will forget you no matter what you do. So the only real question is whether you spent your years chasing their approval or actually living for yourself.
Two great years can undo a decade of damage. Most people spend ten years regretting the last ten. The ones who win spend two years moving so fast the past can't catch them.
The beef really changed nothing in the end lmao.
Drake haters right back in the same position they've been in for 15 years. Begging us to care that they don't like him and listening to his newest album with us as soon as they can.
Oh well, better luck next time.
You are your worst enemy. You waste precious time dreaming of the future instead of engaging in the present. Since nothing seems urgent to you, you’re only half involved in what you do.
Life for men is a marathon. Success and failure at any age does not mean shit. Nada. Bar athletics, can get into any field at any age and lap everyone. Men are essentially ageless.
It takes just a year to turn your life around. And any jackpot takes a couple of months to actualize. Life is a hockey stick for men all around. All limitations are mere illusions.
Expertise is a lie. All domains are extremely shallow. Doesn’t take that long to acquire functional knowledge and understanding in any domain. You just have to have the fire in your belly.
I find hating on somebody a waste of energy…
It doesn’t motivate me to do better in any regard.
What motivates me to do better…
Is focusing on the man I’m going to become.
Day dream about this version of yourself.
You will quickly see the benefit.
Luck occurs when preparation meets opportunity.
As you become more competent, and stay in the same game long enough you put yourself in a better position on the field.
Then eventually, the ball will bounce right into your hands.
Lucky you.
Michael Phelps won every medal possible and then felt empty afterwards
As a Man, you need to remain constantly busy with goals
There is no completing this game
Only the next thing
There is no talent. There is no luck.
There is simply a willingness to take action, pick yourself up when you fall, and learn from your mistakes.
If you do this, it's impossible to not be successful.
