HPCL would like to clarify that fuel supplies across Gujarat remain stable and adequately supported, with continuous replenishment and close monitoring being undertaken across the state.
Due to significantly higher customer footfalls, outlet stocks at certain locations are getting exhausted at a faster pace than usual. The increased demand is primarily attributable to panic buying following recent fuel price revisions over the last few days, higher agricultural and harvesting-related Diesel demand, and the shift of customers from certain private and institutional fuel channels towards retail outlets.
Despite the higher demand scenario, HPCL is ensuring sufficient product availability across Gujarat and the situation is being closely monitored by field and supply teams.
Reflecting the increased customer demand:
• Petrol (MS) sales stood at 63 TKL against 50 TKL during the corresponding period last year — registering growth of 26.7%
• Diesel (HSD) sales stood at 124.3 TKL against 93.2 TKL during the corresponding period last year — reflecting growth of 33.4%
The above figures clearly indicate strong product movement and uninterrupted supply support across the state.
Customers are requested not to indulge in panic buying or rely on rumours and unverified social media reports. Please purchase fuel only as per genuine requirement and cooperate with outlet staff during periods of high footfall.
HPCL remains committed to ensuring uninterrupted fuel availability and seamless customer service across Gujarat.
