@nocoradio A call for us to do anything is not the gospel. The gospel is outside of us... specifically what Jesus did 2,000 years ago for us. Christians justified sola fide produce the fruit of obedience (imperfectly) as we are being sanctified, one of those fruits being denying ourself.

@nocoradio The gospel is what Jesus did in His life, death, and resurrection for our Salvation. In life He perfectly fulfilled the law. In death He bore our sin receiving the punishment we deserve. He rose again for our Justification defeating death and validating who He claimed to be.
