In Midrand, just outside Johannesburg, a procurement manager named Kabelo Dlamini built a reputation as the man who could get things done. At Kopano Engineering, a fast-growing infrastructure contractor working on municipal water projects across Gauteng, Kabelo had quietly become the person everyone relied on whenever suppliers needed to be sourced quickly and contracts needed to move forward without delays.

Some of these songs are unhelpful in the current climate when our focus should be on nation-building and promoting South Africa's positive image to the world.
Yesterday, 6 March 25, we took the Public Protector staff to Vereeniging, Sharpeville, and Boipatong to assist them in launching their investigation into the complaints filed by SAFTU regarding significant wasteful expenditure. The government had conceptualized several impressive projects, such as a COVID-19 hospital, a taxi rank, early childhood development centers, and an old age center. However, the problem is that these buildings are not being utilized and are lying unused for many years after completion or near completion. For example, the taxi rank project in Vereeniging was initiated in 2014 but has faced multiple delays, with four stop-start phases. Buildings that should be of great use to depressed communities are now white elephants and have been partly vandalized, forcing the government to hire security firms to protect them, which means more monthly expenditure
They killed him last night. @Lesufi for how long are we going to allow this? This is the 3rd community leader to be killed in Vaal for standing up against these foreign nationals.
This is an immensely serious statement from @Rand_Water.
We as DA cllrs have said day zero is looming with all the failures. It has now struck. Yesterday @JHBWater had a meeting with cllrs warning that it will be a devastating summer for water supply. @DadaMorero#drytapsjoburg.
The South African Rand (ZAR) is criminally undervalued, meaning that you are paying a lot more for things than you should be. But why is this the case?
