ICE killed a father of three yesterday and no one is talking about it.

Lorenzo Salgado Araujo spent 35 years in Houston building homes and raising a family.

It certainly seems that he was doing everything right, and then a federal agent shot him dead during a stop and his own son found out from a Facebook video, recognizing his father's voice as he lay bleeding in the street.

His son says that if his father had recognized any sign of law enforcement, he would have complied without question.

DHS says he "tried to run him over." This is the exact same lie they used to justify murdering Renee Good, a mother of three.

We are being asked to trust a rogue, lawless agency's word over a dead man's family, again, with no body cam release and no independent investigation.

Today my menopausal GenX self silenced a man.

I’m sitting in the waiting area at the tire center at Costco.

A couple walks in. They are in their 40s. Man goes to the battery display and grabs a battery. He knocks the info/price sign off the rack. Wife walks over and picks it up, puts it back. She realizes all the signs are crooked, starts fixing them, and knocks one to the floor.

Husband chastises her for making a mess. I look up and say “I saw you tearing shit up first, buddy. She’s cleaning up YOUR mess.”

He starts to get upset with me and opens his mouth to argue. I put up my hand and say “if you want to start shit with a menopausal woman with zero fucks to give you’re in the right place.”

This disabled American veteran closed his Citibank account voluntarily to move his money to a more veteran-friendly financial institution according to his wife (@isabellebrown on TT). After the account was closed, a disability payment from the federal government posted and Citibank won’t release the funds.

The person on the phone is 4 supervisors deep in the compliance department and admits that they know it is against the law to withhold the funds because they are protected but finally states that the bank is making them do it. Is this really how Citibank treats American veterans? It sounds like the family is prepared to do whatever it takes as this is their only source of income.
