Incredible Egyptian goal is disallowed because of a foul far away, then same situation a few minutes later and goal for Argentina not disallowed! No VAR, nothing? FIFA again looks like a corrupt joke, playing favorites for stars.
This “Matiang’i was 13 in 1981” defence is village level nonsense, because nobody is accusing a 13-year-old boy of starting the Ruaraka land saga, people are asking why a grown Cabinet Secretary in 2017 authorised payment for land that the Court of Appeal has now confirmed was already public land.
The issue is not when the historical dispute began, the issue is what happened when public officers in 2017 and 2018 approved payment of Sh1.5 billion for land occupied by Drive-In Primary School and Ruaraka High School, with the court now saying NLC had no legal basis to compulsorily acquire land already owned by the State.
Saying “NLC wrote to the Ministry so Matiang’i just paid” is not a defence, because public officers are not rubber stamps hired to move billions whenever another office writes a letter, especially when the money belongs to taxpayers and the land in question carried schools and public use history.
Even EACC previously blamed Matiang’i and Belio Kipsang for the loss of Sh1.5 billion in the Ruaraka school land saga, so this thing was never just some blogger gossip or political noise created yesterday to attack a man who now wants to look clean.
The earlier whistleblower account also claimed the alleged sharing list went beyond Matiang’i, naming Muhammad Swazuri, Salome Munubi, Belio Kipsang, William Chepkut and Githu Muigai as people allegedly marked for different cuts, which is why reducing the debate to Matiang’i alone is another clever distraction.
The same material pointed to the AG’s Chambers as a major enabler, claiming weak defence, suppressed or omitted documents, negotiated settlements instead of straight appeals, and legal opinions that helped give cover to repeated compensation claims around the same Ruaraka land.
The Court of Appeal has now destroyed the soft defence, because if the land was public and the payment was unlawful, then the grown men and women who signed, pushed, defended, enabled, processed or benefited from the payment must answer as adults, not hide behind Matiang’i’s age in 1981.
So let us be honest properly, because the question is not whether Matiang’i was 13 when the land story began, the question is why the Uhuru era machinery paid public money for public land, why the money moved with such speed, and why some people now want Kenyans to treat a Sh1.5 billion loss like an innocent clerical errand.
Of all the people mentioned in the Ruaraka land mess, Matiang’i’s defenders should be very careful about reopening this debate, because the Sh300 million question is not the kind of story that dies just because someone says he was following NLC instructions.
The money was pushed into real estate and transport, including a housing complex in Milimani, Nakuru, a medium haulage company running trucks from Mombasa to Nairobi and Western Kenya, and a top of the range Land Cruiser VX bought from a luxury dealer along Ngong Road.
The same money trail points to a prominent Nairobi law firm and several intermediary companies, which is why people defending Matiang’i should not be inviting Kenyans back into the Ruaraka files like this is a harmless argument.
If you really support Matiang’i, stop extending this debate, because the court has already confirmed the payment was unlawful, and the deeper people go into the money trail, the weaker the “he was just following NLC instructions” excuse becomes.
@IanMalcolm84 Isn’t beauty supposed to be subjective? Humans are living in a global village now, and a Man in Vietnam might find it difficult to find a woman who fits “the western standards of beauty “ - whereas everyone else is ugly. I find this woman attractive.
@colonelkurtz99 She is NOT ugly. Ugly or beautiful is a matter of opinion. Besides, the great majority of black people look like her, not like Kamala Harris.
General Yoweri Kaguta Museveni likely incapacitated from serving as President of Uganda on account of advanced age has been toppled by his infant son. I cannot remember his name. The infant tyrant has embarked on abrogating all freedoms and liberties entrenched in the post revolution Constitution. Our sympathies to the People of Uganda.

Kenyans are being asked to pay more taxes through the Finance Bill 2026, yet the 2026/27 Budget hides KSh 101.37 billion under a vague item called “Other Operating Expenses.” No programme. No purpose. No accountability.
Before taxing Kenyans another shilling, Parliament must clean up the budget. We cannot finance opacity with taxpayers’ sweat.

@NdindiNyoro I am too lazy to read all that, but my lazy mind tells me that your words should be consistent with your actions. Anything other than that is kutupanga.
The UDA regime promised to develop the Turkana aquifer with the potential to irrigate 1m acres. I wish they had undertaken this project. Today, we would be food secure. And we didn't even need a PPP to do it. A fraction of the over KSh 4 trillion borrowed would have been enough
@DavidNdii Jesus 🤦♂️
Now we are using Gemini to argue Egypt was not invented even after seeing videos of Sisi?
Even if he went uninvited, that was a BOSS move and Ruto is NOT the only African president in G7
@BBCWorld As long as the appointing authority, the president himself hasn’t resigned, anything else is just theater. 🎭
What is the point of replacing one group of YES MEN with another ?
@Elvis_Localman When there is already increased flow of people and goods from the biggest economy, into Kenya, isn’t that enough? ~ Kenya is already more connected than it was.
