Ioannis Parodis shares interim data from the ReBioLup study, evaluating 1-year clinical and histopathological outcomes in incident #LupusNephritis (N = 168).

• At 1 year, UPCR at repeat biopsy moderately correlated with NIH AI at repeat biopsy (Spearman’s ρ = 0.48; p = 0.001), although 17% of patients had minimal proteinuria (UPCR <0.5 g/g) with persistently high intrarenal activity (NIH AI ≥4).
• Among patients with NIH AI ≥4 at 12 months, 66.7% were complete renal responders.
• Overall, 10.6% of patients had UPCR >1 g/g but NIH AI <3.

Findings highlight discordance between proteinuria and kidney histopathology, supporting repeat biopsy to guide treatment adaptation.
