“did you ever expect to outperform your teamamate like this through this season?”
ollie: it’s a tough situation which is happening at our team. we’ve been speaking about it a lot, but the inconsistency between our parts has been quite high. i’ve been on the bad side of that, i’ve also been on the good side of that. but it’s a shame because it means you’re always chasing a moving target. overnight we can have changes to our car balanace without expecting that.
all that to say, [we’re not always having] a fair fight, and sometimes we feel like we’re fighting with our hands almost tied behind our back. [..] it’s been a challenge for us. i’m happy with what i’m doing, but the story isn’t necessarily what you see on the headline.
I don’t understand how haas can say they made a step forward in the past few races when one side of the garage has been left struggling with every issue we can imagine and more. An f1 team has to make BOTH cars work, not only one side and call it a day.
Now might be a great time to remind some of you idiots that Ayao made a statement earlier this weekend about what the problems were with the team, and it’s not the drivers. So before you start running your mouth about Esteban, why don’t you learn how to read?
Ocon is by far the most unlucky driver of the season. It's incredible how he's been unlucky since the start of the season. In every race, there’s always something that ruins it all… It’s hard to watch… Not to mention the car...
I don’t understand how Haas could have approached Esteban and signed him up with the aim of making him the team leader, only to sabotage his races whenever they had the chance...
P17 👉🏼 P9 in Monaco! We never gave up!! feels mega to be back in the points especially after a tough weekend. well done to the team today as it was not easy with so much happening around us.. This one feels gooooood @HaasF1Team
First, glad Ollie is okay. Good to be back in the points, especially at my favorite track 🇯🇵 well done to the team for a solid job, feels like we maximised our weekend. we deserved a bit more in the race but we’ll take the learnings and push on. See you in MIA 🌴
Le GP a été difficile à suivre c'est vrai... Mais le potentiel est là ! On le voit avec Ollie (grand bravo à lui) et aux départs des courses. La voiture a l'air solide !
