When the electricity line already exists at the rooftop, why are consumers facing connectivity charges rising from ₹50,000 to ₹3 lakh and now ₹13.50 lakh?GERC must review these charges. Such costs discourage, rather than promote, rooftop solar.

The government has not announced the price of the rooftop solar system. The subsidy scheme has not even started. It is not true if a company gives you a price quotation, the government will announce it in the newspaper itself when the subsidy starts.
