This is mesmerizing Bo-Ning Li! 🤩 Bo-Ning is a Houdini Artist and Technical Generalist & he created this abstract fluid R&D at VolvoxLabs using Copernicus in #Houdini. The effects were made with MotionCOPs, his free & open-source toolkit for Copernicus. https://t.co/f0pLLmv99j

Watch the Houdini 22 Keynote live on YouTube, premiering in one hour.
Some of the key highlights in this release include new Copernicus tools for texturing and for the generation of Terrains and Ocean Spectrums. Houdini 22 makes creative exploration faster and more powerful and includes native implementations of Gaussian splatting and controllable Machine Learning pipelines. New rigging, animation, retargeting and motion mixing tools use KineFX and APEX to provide deep procedural flexibility across the entire character pipeline along with highly optimized hair, fur & muscle physics. Fast layout, set dressing and powerful scattering procedurals have been added to Solaris. And a whole lot more.
SideFX staff will be available during the Live Premiere to respond to your questions and feedback.

Stunning work Irinel Papuc! 🤩 @_pointindex is a 3D Designer & Co-Founder of grundform and has been freelancing since 2013, diving deep into the world of 3D design and animation. Irinel created this exploration with the new Paradigm tool from @TheoryAcceler.
@Nickel_3D built this satisfying Blender animation by exploring different materials and letting each surface influence both the look and the sound of the piece.
Using Product Display Sets, DooDads, and an HDRI from Creative Spaces, he added visual complexity without slowing down production.
💡 Tip: When you're short on time, don't add more geometry. Start by swapping materials. A single material change can completely transform the feel of a render.
