Vincent Mauri — a 25-year-old former college runner from Warren, Ohio — does not have a coach or a sponsor or even a long-distance pedigree. He had never run a half marathon, let alone a full one.
On a Sunday for the ages at the Glass City Marathon, he ran one of the greatest races in American history.
