For the last year, we’ve been working closely with Gentle Systems in Berlin to develop Bingo. We had a hunch about the design from the moment we decided to collaborate, but turning that instinct into something real has taken a lot of back and forth.
The project started from a simple fascination: computers have become dramatically more intelligent, but physically they haven’t changed much. Most of that intelligence still reaches us through the same rectangles, menus, and text boxes. We wanted to know what would happen if a computer had to exist in the world with us: if it had weight, scale, posture, and physically expressed a point of view.
What originally started as a simple case study has now turned into something a little more.
We are now growing the team in Sausalito, CA.
