@adreaminadream Agreed if emergencies are waiting 2 days then its not but everyone seems to think its just an ER issue but it isn’t. Its a ward issue and its a primary care issue too. So much so was the feeling it was solely an er issue gov expanded aed despite input from health sector

@adreaminadream I haven’t taken it personally. HCws also have concerns about the timeliness of treatment and most of the hcws I know, I cannot speak for all don’t think people are undeserving. Ive seen several go out of their way, on their own time to ensure care and follow up etc

@adreaminadream Ideally it shouldn’t be one 24 hour clinic and it would have imaging capabilities and other diagnostics that way appropriate referrals can be made from the clinic itself and patients can also be managed there that don’t need an emergency room.

@adreaminadream Care isn’t denied they’re advised to the appropriate medical facility based on their symptoms. If they choose to stay they’re seen but someone who came with an insect bite and no allergic type symptoms cant be seen ahead of the 5 chest pains, wheezing child and accident victim.
