Just realised my tweet on Piranesi by Susanna Clarke never went through and that is a CRIME since it was probs my fav book of the year! It’s honestly best to go into it blind but bottom line this book felt like it was written just for me, I dream to adapt it one day!

Remaining in fantasy, my favorite book perhaps ever, Piranesi by Susana Clarke, felt like it was written specifically for me. I hope some day I’ll be given the opportunity to adapt this book. It’s unlike any story I’ve ever read and I believe it’s best to read it blind

A book that is also beautifully written is The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon - a feminist, gay, high fantasy adventure set in a world filled with dragons. The world is so rich that you can’t help but want to draw everything described. Incredibly inspiring!
