a couple hours ago news dropped that @neynarxyz is acquiring @farcaster_xyz from the Merkle team

key points:
- previous co-founders no longer working on Farcaster
- Clanker will also belong to Neynar
- founder and part of the Clanker team joining Neynar
- everything else continues operating normally, practically nothing changes

Neynar – the main data provider and infrastructure for Farcaster

Neynar team has been building on Farcaster from the start and created genuinely top-tier infrastructure for developers. Farcaster is what it is largely thanks to Neynar. so they more than deserve to lead the project forward

Neynar's goal – simplify the path for builders from idea to profitable product

now Farcaster x Clanker x Neynar are one. most Farcaster products already run on Neynar infrastructure anyway. who better to properly scale the ecosystem and attract more builders? will be watching developments closely

building changed my life

today @zygote_pods turns one year old
i still remember that exciting day: public launch of my first (and now main) onchain project

we spent a week testing everything in testnet to make the mint go smoothly
in the end the launch was perfect

every @base NFT degen knew about zygote
floor quickly hit 0.03-0.04 eth (30-40x from public price)

then came the first challenges
interest faded, lost our twitter account, price dumped, team conflicts

it was useful
i gained a ton of experience
since then a lot has changed, including my approach to building

zygote repeatedly hit top NFT charts on @base
we ran tons of giveaways, collabs, raids
but that's not enough
NFTs is deep in the gutter, few need low-liquidity PFP jpegs

that's why i timely shifted focus to long-term value and structural reasons
we created based_room, steadily generating revenue for over 7 months with part of the value going to zygote holders

we're also actively developing incentives in UNDERLAB
soon zygote holders will get major privileges there too

sooner or later we'll ship a new product
guess who benefits? exactly

i'm fair and obsessed with this game
