most investors are asking the wrong question about 2026.
it’s not “where’s the next big upside?” It’s “how do i avoid blowing up in a capped, volatile year?”
my base case is simple. risk assets grind higher, but only modestly. the S&P 500 finishes up roughly 5–7%.
$btc remains in a bear-market phase of the four-year cycle, while $eth underperforms due to higher beta and weaker flows.
this isn’t a year for aggressive beta chasing. ETF flows stop being the marginal buyer, so yield matters more than narratives.
tokenized T-bills, private credit, and boring on-chain vaults quietly win, while familiar traps reappear.
cycles don’t disappear; they discipline capital.

InfoFi didn’t fail because the idea was bad. it failed because incentives ran out of control.
paying for posts changed behavior. attention was bought, impressions were farmed, and AI flooded the feed with noise.
@X stepped in because the experience was deteriorating. when noise replaces conversation, platform value drops.
the real lesson isn’t about @KaitoAI: if your product depends on an API you don’t control, you don’t own distribution—you’re borrowing it.

📍How to be a Dune Wizard in 60 days📍
I didn’t wake up one day as a “Dune Wizard”. 🔥
I just kept building consistently on @Dune.
Every single day.
Even on days when I'm so confused about how to build something based on my idea or a client's/project's preferences.
Even when the query/dashboard looked ugly.
Even when nobody was looking.
.
Today makes it 200+ days straight of building on Dune (without breaking the streak)
plus...
• 399 queries
• 21 dashboards
• 10k+ views
• 1.4k+ stars
• 80+ forks
But numbers aren’t the part that matters.
I've also hit milestones and big wins like:
⪼ featured on Dune Digest (Ep 17) https://t.co/CLWJvOoCrI, https://t.co/UIGjJAzai1
⪼ featured a couple other times https://t.co/e5yHVyeGMJ, https://t.co/a7SOq5KyQW, etc.
⪼ being among the top 1% of Dune OGs rewarded with thier merch https://t.co/jgyvN6sLyK
received public shout-out for my wonderful work by top organizations (@ProtocolGuild, @Kttyworld, @PlanetHorseGame, and several others) https://t.co/6a1BwX3yz3, https://t.co/BjzI60NE9x, https://t.co/48LSwx4Xqc, etc.
⪼ received community recognition and awards for outstanding dashboards @AnalyticSages @Dune_Africa @AnalystLab_HQ
⪼ currently the top OG Dune Analyst on @Plasma and @Ronin_Network chains (check the stats 😉)
...and lots more (fr, I can't talk about all of them)
.
What actually moved the needle was this habit I still keep till today:
<<<< Here’s one of my secrets 📍 >>>>
Before I build anything,
I study other people’s work.
If I get a new idea,
If I get a gig,
If I touch a new chain,
➫ I search for dashboards and queries solving similar problems.
➫ I read them line by line.
➫ I then verify if the metrics are accurate and authentic
➫ I try to understand why they made certain decisions.
➫ I also take note of what I like or what caught my attention or what's trending and what users are interested in...and how it aligns with what I'm trying to build
That way, I'm more guided with these top OGs work and even do more for my personal project.
By doing these a couple of times from different top analyst's/OG's work, I can learn how they think and even combine their ideas/strategies to building something badass.
Most of these stuff improved my critical thinking skill that's helping me till now.
.
That thinking compound kinda shaped projects like:
KTTY World
Planet Horse
Ronin Games
Aave, Euler & Fluid on Plasma
And it’s the same approach I used while building https://t.co/yle4ryf6K4,
where I combined onchain data pipelines with ML, just like I did earlier for @Solana gaming analytics https://t.co/uHgIyV7QFo
...plus many others.
.
Fr, most people think growth comes from learning more tools.
In reality, it comes from:
• asking better questions
• studying good work deeply
• building consistently, even when it feels slow
There maybe no breakthrough moment. But just keep taking daily reps.
If you’re building in data or Web3: Don’t rush visibility.
Instead, Stack proof of work.
The rest will follow.
Gm 😉
Happy Friday ❤️
We are revising our developer API policies:
We will no longer allow apps that reward users for posting on X (aka “infofi”). This has led to a tremendous amount of AI slop & reply spam on the platform.
We have revoked API access from these apps, so your X experience should start improving soon (once the bots realize they’re not getting paid anymore).
If your developer account was terminated, please reach out and we will assist in transitioning your business to Threads and Bluesky.
i published a full review of my 2025 crypto predictions.
some calls nailed it. others missed on magnitude. a few were wrong—and those mattered most.
final score: 80% accuracy.
biggest lesson was overestimating the year itself. that was the real value trap.

Built a Quant Execution Bot in Rust — a lightweight market-maker for prediction markets.
It simulates quoting, execution, and risk in a fully deterministic research setup. 🦀
Core ideas:
• Adaptive bid/ask spreads
• Inventory-aware mid-price skew
• Simple risk controls (PnL, drawdown, exposure)
• Seeded RNG → reproducible experiments
The engine:
• Simulates taker flow
• Matches fills
• Tracks inventory & PnL
• Emits CSV summaries + JSON tick-by-tick traces
Designed for fast iteration and analysis.
Why Rust?
• Performance
• Memory safety
• Explicit state ownership
Perfect for execution research that can later move toward production.
Architecture is compact:
ExecutionEngine → MarketMaker → MarketState → Logs
Easy to extend with:
• limit order books
• latency models
• alternative quoting rules
Contribute or experiment!
The code is open-source on GitHub - clone, run, or submit PRs to improve the simulator:
