People talk about Arteta playing “haram ball” but when you check the facts none of it makes any sense.

Arsenal almost always press high. Almost always have the ball. Almost always have it in the opposition half. And almost always get big scores against the biggest sides.

—Last season, there was 8 goals when they played Liverpool twice!

—They destroyed Real Madrid 5-1 home and away!

—They hit a dozen goals against PSV and Girona

—There was 4 goals vs PSG. With them missing a couple of sitters

—They scored 4 goals or more on 10 different occasions last season!

In the games where they don't score, it's usually because they are missing multiple top attackers and people do not even consider that.

This is despite them buying fewer attackers and having used the same bunch for a while. Apart from Saka, none of their attackers are even rated as best in the world. Which means Arteta is doing more with less.

Because Arsenal are not an incompetent side and do not leak goals or allow themselves to become the victims of end-to-end football even if they can't attack well, people name Arteta a terrorist.
