Two Years ago we just had an idea to train kids on how to play chess in our community. We started with only 2 chess boards and a very enthusiastic team. There have been challenges but not compared to what we have Archived. it has not been easy but we are grateful for the passion

Finally we had our first edition of the Kibera chess Tournament. it was thrilling to watch strategic moves, critical thinking and turn taking during the tournament. The kids enjoyed playing and more so made friends with others from different organizations.
