The entire airline industry - airlines, airports, manufacturers, general aviation, unions - penned a letter to lawmakers on the operational safety and efficiency of the National Airspace System, and affirmed alignment “on not pursuing privatization of U.S. air traffic control”
The FAA and its employees are responsible for keeping us safe while in the air. Firing FAA workers without a plan is dangerous and does nothing to improve Americans’ trust in air travel.
Dozens of passengers walked away from Flight 4819 without injury thanks to the professionalism and preparation of the @ALPAPilots and @afa_cwa crew. It’s a testament to their training, and it made a difference today in Toronto. (1/2)
