I know it's dangerous for my animals to drink from an established tank but I figured since it has no additives or waste and is constantly having water changes it would be fine. My cats prefer running water over still standing.
If you're both a fish keeper and cat owner please give your input! My 5gal bucket has salvaged plants from my preexisting aquarium that crashed. No ferts/stock/substrate but it does have a filter and some lava stone (for the moss). Is this safe for my cats to drink out of?
I hope you've all been doing the absolute best you can through this pandemic, and I'd love to hear about something you've accomplished or done over the last few months that's helped you find happiness.

I know I havent been the best at keeping you all updated, I've been on a trip and a half.
Otis here managed to get it on with our Pitbull before we had the chance to neuter him. On the bright side, we got 8 beautiful pups. πΎ Enjoy this video of him and one of his daughters.
I mentioned awhile ago that I'd be getting another dog. Well, hes finally here. He was in pretty rough shape but he knows where his home is now. After a few trips to the vet and many many baths, Otis is officially part of the family!
@hackquarium Actually, as of October 2018 it is legal to grow up to 4 plants in one household without a licence, whether it be for medicinal or recreational use. That is in British Columbia, the rules vary from province to province.
@jmtrops My boyfriend has been sharing his dog with me, but I've been wanting to foster my own for awhile. This guy needs a new home so I'm going to socialize and teach him some manners, then once him and his already-arranged home is ready we'll be parting ways.
Danios are temporarily in the tetra tank, everyone seems to be getting along fine. I apologize for the lame quality, this was first thing in the morning and I wanted to film them while they were eating.
@PANDAquatics Possibly, but that's not really my problem. I'm stocked up on neccecities but the largest tank I have is only a 10 gal. I have 4 Danios right now and feel like they should be in a larger group anyways so my friend is going to put them with hers until I can set up a new scape.
My newest tank started to leak and though my Molly fry are temporarily fine in a 5 gallon, I'm afraid I may have to re-home the Danios being I can't budget in a new aquarium right now. After doing some research I decided that they may not be in my best interest anyways, oh man.
