@AnonymousRouge_ I’d love to continue connecting and creating on Roblox but I think that is gone and will never come back, so many monetary and verifying hurdles just to still have stripped back social features, if that ever changes I might come back, but, as I said, I don’t think it will.
It’s sad to see how much has changed on Roblox over time, I’ve been playing it since 2008, signing in daily for tix, and over time, as it’s got popular, naturally, it’s moved away from that small community feel, to a big corporation, but the update with chat has killed most of
@AnonymousRouge_ I love the community on Roblox, being able to share and play games with people, but now I’d be forced to get discord to even talk to people, I think the soul is gone, it’s now a corporate project rather than a passion project, I will never upload my ID, it’s crazy.
Everyone I’ve ever met on there, and everyone who supported me or just played in a server I was in, even if you didn’t talk, i will be looking for alternatives for game development, and hopefully I can continue enjoying game development and the communities around it.
The social aspect of the game, I get the reasoning, but the result is the same, now with all the updates to who can publish, it has slowly gotten to a point where I just don’t have any pull to making games on Roblox. I don’t regret the many years spent on Roblox, and I thank
@Samuelisation_ Ah, found the option, it's not on the main "eligibility screen", it's found when clicking "verify ID", looks like my only option is to buy something though, as I don't want to do that. 🙃
Was looking to work more on my domino game only to find out I’m no longer able to publish until I give ID which I won’t be doing, or purchase something, sooo…
@Samuelisation_ There was no option there for me, but I still don’t like the idea of giving face scans, I certainly won’t ever give a photo of ID, I can’t think of anything worse, the risk is not worth it.
Forgot to show it, but it works with the increment adjustment you see above, 0 to 100, trying to not leave out any QOL features, getting each tool perfect before moving on.
Who would have thought creating a custom drag tool could be so awkward? But here it is.
Hotkeys: R - Rotate, T - Flip, F - Duplicate, X - Delete, making domino placement quick and painless.
Fully added simulation mode as well. #RobloxDev#RBXDev
Added tweens to hide the UI too, eventually I will re add the cinematic camera mode too, which will give you free cam while simulating and hide all UI.
Added StudioMode for world editing, a free camera (Ctrl - slow, Shift - fast, Q/E - up/down) with smooth transitions. Also added Transparency & Reflectance editing in properties, plus the Insert Tool.

I've not begun work on it yet, but I have planned it out, alongside all the other features being added, this will be a pretty substantial upgrade to the game, I still would love to see people make large intricate domino tracks in my game.
Domino Universe currently uses someone else's Serialization, it is not refined for my game, in the new version my custom serialization will hopefully allow me to store 100k instances per key, and with chunked saving allow unlimited save file sizes.
