@DECOMMISSIONrbx really not sure how to help you; the code shouldn't be too difficult. an easy way is to number the nodes and loop through them in order.
@Divin8tor@Conxtalv2@script_ing im somewhat new to generating entire games from scratch so don't know it's full potential.
though, you might be right in saying that using a skill could be a really easy way of having it behave more efficiently, ill take a look at what's available right now π«‘
@Divin8tor@Conxtalv2@script_ing id need to research more to give you an accurate answer. models right now do make some active considerations for exploits or exploiting logic, but there's no way it'll be perfect. long way for AI to go βοΈ
@Divin8tor@Conxtalv2@script_ing yes, as someone who is also capable of programming, giving it some extra prompt or reference will have it be a LOT more competent!
i think the point is that without the nudge, it's currently quite sloppy
@bryanhebana@Conxtalv2@script_ing i think the point of this conversation has gone completely over your head and you're just looking to argue. ideas β code quality, find someone else to annoy βοΈ
@Kwayne64@Conxtalv2@script_ing it's worth noting that the deeper you make it think, the more carefully it goes about logic and data structures. I haven't seen it improve in naming variables suitably though, which can make it harder to read its code βοΈ
@Kwayne64@Conxtalv2@script_ing when you give it code to refer to, it usually follows your style pretty well (i.e. you provide it something to fix)
otherwise, it often names variables HORRIBLY, has questionable logic, and as I've seen, split up gamepass ids and hold them in 2 separate tables π
@gamemechgandhi@ItsJustAlexC@Conxtalv2@script_ing this is true, yeah, but the goal is to give AI as little guidance as possible. having to provide code for it to refer to hinders this if I make sense
@Conxtalv2@script_ing all good, I'm embracing AI now as well as it's inevitable.
it's just interesting to look at the code. very unlikely a human would ever write as poorly as AI sometimes does, but I guess if it can understand itself then why be neat π€·ββοΈ
@Conxtalv2@script_ing hello? why have you turned hostile??? im not complaining at all! I was just informing you that opus 5.5 does also write really messy code π
why are people like this
