@AnonymerNutze12@YURIWinchest Are they outperforming? Or is it just bots engaging with bots. IIRC when twitch banned botted views, it revealed that even big streamers with 60k viewers really only had like 8k
@JohnGreenDev In almost every interaction I have had with fellow SWEs from vendors my company uses, outside of social media where rampant bots and randoms pushing this AI hype, this has not remotely been my experience. There is clearly a false narrative being push. You may be one of them.
@devXritesh First things that pop out to me is there are no checks for amount.
No null checks for sender or receiver.
No checks if sender is the same as reciever
Maybe add some idempotency so this can't be spammed.
While not a bug returning 500 is not appropriate nor is it descriptive.
@dark_coderz All validation is done on the backend servers. To prevent this very thing. It works the same way with video games. A good architecture never trusts the client.
@VisionPunished@yungskrrt What a huge uninformed assumption that everything on the backend works. Who set that stuff up? Are we just pretending none of that exists and it just magically works? You seem to be very inexperienced as to how much effort it takes to keep a backend up.
@Conxtalv2@Samuelisation_@script_ing Nah im gonna get hostile. You're simply just wrong. Opus 5.5 is fucking shit at coding and you're just coping. There is literally no way to make this slop readable. Nobody believes you and there is mountains upon mountains of evidence for why its shit.
@DDhardesh@Aditya_181105 You're very inexperienced developer huh?
There is no established record that this is reoccurring. You're making all these assumptions and fuss over a, so far, one time anomoly. No sensible engineer would rush to remake the entire process over 1 occurance like you are.
@Aditya_181105 Nothing to check. In theory it shouldn't, but it's still possible. There is no reason to tear through the workflow until this is proven to be reoccuring. Just create a new UUID, assign it to whatever is using it and remove the duplicate. Y'all make it hard for no reason.
@jonnygravity@prasenx I disagree as a dev of 10+ years. It depends on the scope of the project but in general, it falls flat if you only vibe code. If it was good, meta wouldn't be weaning its devs off of it after pushing them. Always follow what companies are doing, not what media hype says.
