I am searching for a few good people who love Jesus and believe in the ministry of Christian Radio to stand with us!
Joy Christian Radio is a nonprofit ministry, solely supported by our listeners, friends and family who believe in what we’re trying to do here.
The past seven years has been the toughest I’ve ever seen in my almost 50 years of Christian broadcasting! That's largely because the society in which we live is becoming more evil and God’s Church is becoming more and more lethargic (lukewarm, as Revelation 3 calls it). The church's impact and influence on society has waned over the decades until the church is less and less able to make a difference in this sin-sickened society. That's precisely where #JoyChristianRadio comes in!!
We want to be part of God's plan to turn this around! We want revival! And, we want to see God's church on fire again!
Rekindle the flame!
Light the fires of revival!
But, there is a sad part as of today. The sad part is that our finances have slowly dwindled down to the point that it is difficult to pay even the regular monthly utility and operational bills, much less to be able to grow as we once did in the past. More importantly, the once large number of people who once prayed with us every day has dwindled.
And, we're determined to turn all of this around! Or, as the common expression these days says, we want a “reboot” of our finances in order that we can meet the enormous needs at our ongoing radio ministry!
I pray that everyone who reads this post will do two simple things. 1) Ask God how you can support Joy Christian Radio. Either financially or as a volunteer (if you live in the Quitman area), or perhaps through your will. That brings me to step #2. Obey God, whatever He leads you to do.
Ever since we started this ministry, I've encouraged people to remember this ministry in your last will and testament! When you make your final plans, would you pray about naming Joy Christian Communications, Inc. (our parent organization) in your will? Now, we want you to take good care of your family! But, if you have room to leave a gift for Christ in your last will and testament, what a fabulous testimony that will be to your family and friends -- not to mention what a blessing it will be to that lonely, distraught person who "just happens" to tune in at the right time and hear the "SONG JUST FOR ME!"
Remember that our nonprofit can accept cash and “non-cash” gifts as you see fit. We can sell or perhaps even use the noncash gifts you leave us in ways that will bring eternal results that you will know about immediately, once you are with the Father. Imagine being a part of that "great cloud of witnesses" spoken of in Hebrews and watching as people listening to Joy Christian Radio (because of your gift) as they accept Christ or as they come home from Prodigal highway....all because YOU GAVE and supported our ministry! Whatever you do, please pray and ask God to lead you as you decide! All we've ever asked people to do is to "Pray and Obey God."
Think of it. If a mere 50 new people, families, churches, Sunday School classes or other Christian groups would commit to ANY monthly amount of financial support as God leads, Joy Christian Radio could go and grow for the Glory of God and not have any more operational worries! I’m certain that when we all get to Heaven, many of those people that were touched by your generosity will come to find you in order to shake your hand, hug your neck and say “thank you for giving to the Lord. I am a life that was changed - because of your gift to Joy Christian Radio. I would be in hell right now except that I heard about the Messiah over Joy Christian Radio, and God showed me that your gift helped them bring the message of Redemption to me.” I can only imagine.
So, listen online any time, and please pray about what God would have you do to support this wonderful ministry! Go to our website using the link below..
