Yesterday, I read one of the most heartbreaking chats. It made me pause and reflect on life. It was from a gentleman here. He graduated more than 15 years ago with a First Class degree and topped his class. Since his graduation, he said he has never seen 2 million naira at once as a secondary school teacher. For fifteen whole years.

I read that and wept quietly inside.

A few years ago, there was a First Class graduate who was described by his peers as one of the soundest minds they had ever met. He was later found working as a farmer in his village. It was a video shared on social media by one of his peers that made people rally around him and crowdfund his “Japa” abroad.

There are many graduates today who have never boarded an international or even a local flight. Many intellectually sound and resourceful people have not had the opportunity to fulfil their destiny or are simply under-living.

Yes, it hurts to be in that position. It feels like life is being snuffed out of you with each passing day when you think about your situation. But use that pain as fuel. Give it your all.

You may have to:
A) Change your location to access opportunities.
B) Stay up late at night to search for scholarships and other opportunities abroad.
C) Go broke to pay for online courses or acquire digital skills.
D) Skip meals — but don’t skip your dreams.
E) Accept that you may not have it all figured out. That’s normal. Keep figuring it out one day at a time.

Please, do me a favour; don’t settle for naira when your gifts and talents are priced in pounds and dollars.

There is no humility in poverty. Use it as a catalyst to reignite your dreams.

Don’t make As in school and settle for Fs in life.

@Big_Itohan You didn't tell us what was stolen from you. An innocent driver whose car broke down by the road can be harassed by touts in Lagos but how would you say it was his gang of thieves. Did he drop you at your destination or not? Since sunday, why posting it today?

@lifewith_nessa Even though Paul recommended marriage for the singles who lacks self control, it doesn't necessarily cure the issue itself. It was only a preventive measure.
A person who lacks self control regarding sex and didn't deal with it before marriage will definitely cheat in marriage
