“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.” Genesis 1:1-3 NLT

“Thus says the Lord: “Stand in the ways and see, And ask for the old paths, where the good way is, And walk in it; Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We will not walk in it.’”
Jeremiah 6:16 NKJV
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
Matthew 7:13-14 NKJV
"Lord, where You lead, I'll follow
Keep me walking down the straight and narrow
Come gladness, tears, or trouble
Give me Jesus and the road less traveled
I was never one for rules
Don't want no cookie-cutter faith
I've seen Jesus walk with sinners
Turn rebels into saints
There's more outside these walls
Than the fear inside of me
So you can keep your earthly crowns
Find me somewhere washing feet
I'm singing
Lord, where You lead, I'll follow
Keep me walking down the straight and narrow
Come gladness, tears, or trouble
Give me Jesus and the road less traveled
Oh-no-no, oh-no-no
Ooh-ooh, ooh
Now the laborers are few
The harvest's overflowing
Many are called, but not enough are going
So count me in the number
Carrying my cross
To take the love of Jesus
And gather up the lost
I'm singing Lord, where You lead, I'll follow
Keep me walking down the straight and narrow
Come gladness, tears, or trouble
Give me Jesus and the road less traveled
Oh-no-no, oh-no-no
Give me Jesus and the road less traveled
Oh-na-na-na, oh-na-na-na
Give me Jesus and the road less traveled
Oh, Lord
When the world offers counterfeit
I choose Jesus
When it costs more than I can give
I choose Jesus
When the world can't make sense of it
I choose Jesus
And when nobody's coming with
I choose Jesus
When the world offers counterfeit
I choose Jesus
When it costs more than I can give
I choose Jesus
When the world can't make sense of it
I choose Jesus
And when nobody's coming with
I choose Jesus (so, tell me who's coming with?)
Oh, I'm singing
Lord, where You lead, I'll follow
Keep me walking down the straight and narrow
Come gladness, tears, or trouble
Give me Jesus and the road less traveled
Lord, where You lead, I'll follow
Keep me walking down the straight and narrow
Come gladness, tears, or trouble
Give me Jesus and the road less traveled
Oh-no-no, oh-no-no
Give me Jesus and the road less traveled
Oh-na-na-na, oh-no-no-no
Give me Jesus and the road less traveled"

“I will praise you, Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all the marvelous things you have done. I will be filled with joy because of you. I will sing praises to your name, O Most High. My enemies retreated; they staggered and died when you appeared. For you have judged in my favor; from your throne you have judged with fairness. You have rebuked the nations and destroyed the wicked; you have erased their names forever. The enemy is finished, in endless ruins; the cities you uprooted are now forgotten. But the Lord reigns forever, executing judgment from his throne. He will judge the world with justice and rule the nations with fairness. The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. Those who know your name trust in you, for you, O Lord, do not abandon those who search for you. Sing praises to the Lord who reigns in Jerusalem. Tell the world about his unforgettable deeds. For he who avenges murder cares for the helpless. He does not ignore the cries of those who suffer. Lord, have mercy on me. See how my enemies torment me. Snatch me back from the jaws of death. Save me so I can praise you publicly at Jerusalem’s gates, so I can rejoice that you have rescued me. The nations have fallen into the pit they dug for others. Their own feet have been caught in the trap they set. The Lord is known for his justice. The wicked are trapped by their own deeds. Quiet Interlude The wicked will go down to the grave. This is the fate of all the nations who ignore God. But the needy will not be ignored forever; the hopes of the poor will not always be crushed. Arise, O Lord! Do not let mere mortals defy you! Judge the nations! Make them tremble in fear, O Lord. Let the nations know they are merely human. Interlude”
Psalms 9:1-20 NLT
If God sent Christ to earth to be crushed for our eternal salvation, it makes no sense for God to turn his back on us during our present time of need. In other words, the guarantee of our eternal future also guarantees everything we need right here, right now.

“The Lord went ahead of them. He guided them during the day with a pillar of cloud, and he provided light at night with a pillar of fire. This allowed them to travel by day or by night. ”
Exodus 13:21 NLT
"Anytime a heart turns from darkness to light
Anytime temptation comes and someone stands to fight
Anytime somebody lives to serve and not be served
I know, I know, I know, I know
God is on the move, on the move
Hallelujah
God is on the move
In many mighty ways
God is on the move, on the move
Hallelujah
God is on the move
On the move today
Anytime in weakness someone falls upon their knees
Or dares to speak the truth that sets men free
Anytime the choice is made to stand upon the Word
I know, I know, I know, I know
God is on the move, on the move
Hallelujah
God is on the move
In many mighty ways
God is on the move, on the move
Hallelujah
God is on the move
On the move today, yeah
I see a generation standing on the truth
In each and every nation, God is on the move
Anytime the Gospel stirs a searching soul
And someone says, "Send me, here I go"
I know, I know, I know, I know
God is on the move, on the move
Hallelujah
God is on the move
In many mighty ways
God is on the move, on the move
Hallelujah
God is on the move
On the move today
God is on the move, on the move
Hallelujah
God is on the move
In many mighty ways
God is on the move, on the move
Hallelujah
God is on the move
On the move today
On the move today, yeah
I see a generation standing on the truth
In each and every nation, God is on the move"
@KatharinaLeAnn Peter and John didn't have training either. Luke says the council saw they were "unlearned and ignorant men" and marvelled, then realized "that they had been with Jesus" (Acts 4:13).
““Today I have given you the choice between life and death, between blessings and curses. Now I call on heaven and earth to witness the choice you make. Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!
You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying him, and committing yourself firmly to him. This is the key to your life. And if you love and obey the Lord, you will live long in the land the Lord swore to give your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.””
Deuteronomy 30:19-20 NLT
“For we know that when this earthly tent we live in is taken down (that is, when we die and leave this earthly body), we will have a house in heaven, an eternal body made for us by God himself and not by human hands. We grow weary in our present bodies, and we long to put on our heavenly bodies like new clothing. For we will put on heavenly bodies; we will not be spirits without bodies. While we live in these earthly bodies, we groan and sigh, but it’s not that we want to die and get rid of these bodies that clothe us. Rather, we want to put on our new bodies so that these dying bodies will be swallowed up by life. God himself has prepared us for this, and as a guarantee he has given us his Holy Spirit.
So we are always confident, even though we know that as long as we live in these bodies we are not at home with the Lord. For we live by believing and not by seeing. Yes, we are fully confident, and we would rather be away from these earthly bodies, for then we will be at home with the Lord. So whether we are here in this body or away from this body, our goal is to please him. For we must all stand before Christ to be judged. We will each receive whatever we deserve for the good or evil we have done in this earthly body.”
2 Corinthians 5:1-10 NLT
