👀 South Dakota State Rep. Tony Randolph noted that when he filed House Bill 1212, which would have abolished abortion in South Dakota, major Pro-Life establishment leaders in the state did not approach him to have a conversation about the effort, but rather worked behind the scenes to undermine support for the legislation.
Randolph called out Pro-Life establishment groups for fearmongering over maximum penalties while ignoring the role of due process in the justice system. Randolph also emphasized the biblical command to establish justice and stop the shedding of innocent blood.
These remarks occurred as members of the South Dakota Republican Party platform committee debated equal protection language. Pro-Life establishment groups opposed the language in committee and on the floor of the convention.

America at 250. Wanted to go big. So, I preached "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" by Jonathan Edwards. His manuscript was about 7,200 words. I abridged it to around 5,600; kept his original wording.
A man is charged with attempted murder for placing a toddler in a crocodile enclosure.
Yet abortion remains legal in many jurisdictions.
Why do we recognize the humanity of one child but not the other?

Yeah; played through lies. Remember he said this of those who questioned him, “They're really criticizing science, because I represent science. That's dangerous…I'm a scientist. I care about tracking the truth."
“Tonal arguments are ways of, frankly, policing working class ways of communication, and covering them in elite preferences.” @JDVance
Exactly. Tone policing is 100% liberal elite-coded, but more fundamentally, it’s an effeminate act. It’s what women do.
Leadership matters, doesn’t it? I refused to “bow and kneel in prayer” w their woke black and white puppet platform nonsense back in Nashville. So glad Rice won. Praise God! @bartbarber@jdgreear
Never let them tell you leadership doesn’t matter.
Newly elected SBC President @WillyRice says “I’ll do everything I can” to help get Mohler’s Truth & Unity Amendment ratified in Indianapolis.
This will be a major change from the first “second year vote” in Indianapolis in 2024. In the run up to that year, the then-SBC President did everything he could to defeat it.
Having our SBC President support the amendment in its second year might make all the difference!
I want to thank so many of you who have reached out personally to congratulate us and assure us of your prayers. We are humbled and accept this opportunity for service knowing it is a stewardship for which we will give account. I want to congratulate my brother, Josh Powell, and his wonderful family for his exemplary conduct and efforts during this season.
My esteem for him has only grown and I know he will be a voice in Southern Baptist life for years to come. We need 1000 pastors like him.
I want to assure all Southern Baptists, those who voted for me and those who didn’t, that
our desire is to serve our Lord and you and my prayer is indeed that God will bring us into a season of reconciliation and renewal. It is my hope to listen and to serve and I ask for your prayers, your patience, and your continued cooperation as we continue in the good work God has given us to do.
Every SBC pastor & messenger must watch this documentary. See with your own eyes & hear with your own ears what is happening with your offerings. Remember...it didn't have to be this way (see the comment below).
May God make @WillyRice SBC President!

Next week in Orlando, Southern Baptists will vote for a new SBC President, either @WillyRice or @JoshuaWPowell.
If you wonder what the differences are, here's a quick comparison.
Wade, I asked a world-renowned Greek scholar what he thinks of your view of this text. Here is part of his response, word-for-word.
"That's truly bizarre. Not sure what he's smoking! There are two instances of ἐν in v. 11; γυνή is not the object of either."
Lots of feminists agree with you. No reputable Greek scholar does.
If you were effectively discipled by your supposed betters during the Covid years, never forget this & learn your lesson. That includes remembering all the evangelical leaders who completely failed by falling for & promoting this narrative.
I once again ask: How many offering plate dollars has @bartbarber’s reckless tweets cost the SBC?
Because as we know from discovery documents, the answer is not “zero.”
That’s right—the SBC had to use missions giving to defend Barber in court for his carless public words.
The SBC has an epidemic of "courageous in private, but quiet in public" men in leadership positions all across our seminaries, entities, and even behind some of our biggest pulpits
