History is a pendulum.
First, hardware dominates. Then, software shines. Now, hardware returns to the spotlight. The story of AI, GPUs, & national interest follows this cycle.
built this with codex https://t.co/qyglrdz2jR, training a small language model from scratch. got the data pipeline, tokenizer, model architecture, logging, checkpoints and loss curves all working
turns out vibe coding is perfect for learning, not just shipping. reading 'build a large language model from scratch' rn and just had it code the whole thing + make me a study plan to actually understand it
pretty interesting. according to claude, with 80kg bodyweight you are in the top 1% if you can do (10 reps) Benchpress 105kg, squat 165kg, deadlift 185kg, overhead press 75kg. For running a marathon you need to be sub 2:50h.
combined it looks way different.
Massive crypto selloff driven by US–China tariff shock, record leverage, and thin weekend liquidity. But liquiditation of $19bn is crazy. FTX blowout was 'just' $6bn
The largest liquidation event in crypto history.
In the past 24 hours, 1,618,240 traders were liquidated, with a total liquidation amount of $19.13 billion.
The actual total is likely much higher — #Binance only reports one liquidation order per second.

I just spun up the first version of Aave Risk Lab.
Right now it’s running with mock data (WETH, USDC, wstETH balances + prices).
It’s a read-only simulator, no wallet connect yet — but the math is already the same that Aave uses for liquidation risk.
🚀 Launching Proto10x → my public playground for tiny builds, shipped fast.
I’ll be dropping experiments in tech, crypto & AI here every week.
