عندها أمر الجنرال ليونارد وود بهجوم شامل. ثلاثة أيام من القصف المدفعي والرشاشات على فوهة ضيقة محشوة بالبشر، وحين انتهى كل شيء كان قد سقط ما بين ٩٠٠ وألف قتيل، ولم ينجُ إلا حفنة لا تتجاوز أصابع اليدين.
وحين سأل العالم: كيف قُتل كل هؤلاء النساء والأطفال؟ كان جواب الجنرال: الرجال اتخذوهم دروعا بشرية. أي أن الضحية صار هو المتهم بموته.
دروع بشرية 👉🏻ألا تبدو العبارة مألوفة؟ هي نفسها التي بُرّر بها قتل المدنيين في فيتنام، ثم في العراق، ثم في غزة. لم تعد مصطلحا عسكريا، بل صارت نصا جاهزا كُتب على أجساد مسلمي #الفلبين قبل غيرهم بأكثر من قرن.
فقبل أن تقرر إلى أي جانب تقف، اعلم أن من يطلبون دعمك اليوم جرّبوا هذا النص نفسه على شعوب أخرى من قبل
