@observer0334@eagle_patriot21 Doors may be closing for future applicants, but US already has a massive massive amount of already approved i140 and might not even need more for the next few years.
Average tech job opening today is getting more than 100 applicants, and we are not even in the recession.
@JoelWebbon Thatβs just a drama before midterms dude.
Everyone related to tech field have seen this movie dozens of times. They repete it every election and midterms
@amandalouise416 This is staged drama, so was that $100k fees publicity stunt.
85,000 approved H-1B labors from 2026 lottery will be here in a few weeks.
Tech job market is beyond brutal for the average citizen.
People won't know this is all sham since media doesn't exist in this country.
@JobsNowPaper@satyanadella@VP This is all staged drama. And every person from tech industry knows it.
Regardless of whatever they say, 85000 approved H1b labors from 2026 lottery will be with us in few weeks.

@realBrandonGill Why are you posting this to people instead of doing something about it?
Do you think if you tweet about it enough time, it will fix itself ?
Or are you just reminding people what a crappy government they have ?
@kaylee_ashlynn I wish.
Truth is they haven't banned a shit.
The proposed rule change is for Green Card filing.
H1b is still as stable and solid as it was two years ago. Not a single change has been made.
@MooreGovernor@RepJayapal H1b is broken they can renew indefinably and most of them have I140 is approved.
Yes if they actually pass the rule removing 60 day grace period, then you basically end H1b without ending H1b.
But they would do it. JD is just there because of midterms.
