Hey Guys, we need โฆ2,000 from 500 people to complete this project.

Letโs make it happen before the weekend ends!
I grew this clientโs Instagram clothing brand from 0 to 2,800+ followers.
About two months before my wedding last year, he suddenly sent me this message asking me to stop working with him. no prior issues, no warning. He claimed I posted low-quality content.
I didnโt argue. I remember I was driving when the message came in. I just accepted it and moved onโฆno back and forth.
Fast forward to tonight, I finally picked up a number that had been calling me all day. It was him asking me to come back and continue managing the account.
I declined.
Out of curiosity, I checked the pageโฆ it has gained less than 88 followers since then, with almost no engagement.
Back in 2014, during my SIWES at GTBank, there was a lady I worked with who would become visibly uneasy whenever a white customer joined the queue. The moment she noticed one, she would either rush off to the restroom or start trembling.
On one occasion, she processed a deposit for a customer, completed the transaction, and then surprisingly returned the money back to the same customer. It was both confusing and concerning to witness.
Experiences like that make me reflect on how some people still feel intimidated or inferior because of someone elseโs skin color, even in their own country. Itโs quite baffling, honestly.
Letโs all laugh at South Africaโs Bafana Bafana ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Let me break this down.
This is Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs.
Millions of Nigerian graduates... educated, hardworking, full of potential are still fighting for the very bottom of this pyramid decades after leaving university. Physiological needs. Food. Shelter. The basics.
Adults are still living in their parents' homes not because they're comfortable, but because safety and belonging remain a luxury they cannot afford.
But here's what breaks me the most.
The moment the average Nigerian Japa, something shifts. Within months, sometimes weeks, they're operating at the esteem level. Respected. Stable. Building something.
Not because they changed.
Because the environment finally stopped fighting them.
Our government has failed us so completely that the same system meant to serve its citizens actively works against them. This is not a personal failure story. It is a systemic one.
I just saw the Adidas campaign ad, and itโs easily the coolest thing on the internet right now. Messi doesnโt even try to prove heโs the GOAT throughout the entire video.

Many years ago, right after the peak BlackBerry era, I switched to another phone. Unfortunately for me, the โฆ1,000 I recharged for my monthly subscription was automatically deducted for BIZ. the BlackBerry plan. I immediately called customer care. then it was Etisalat Nigeria. to have it converted to a regular data subscription.
But their support team kept giving me the runaround. I called about four times, and each agent came up with a different excuse instead of a solution. By the time I got to the last agent, I could already tell she was about to do the same thing, and I lost my temper. I spoke to her very rudely. That whole experience made me stop using their network, and eventually, I even lost the SIM card.
Then sometime around 2014, I went to retrieve the SIM at one of their buses parked in front of Mr. Biggโs/Mobil filling station in Abule Egba. While I was there, one of the staff helping out suddenly called me aside and asked if I had ever had an issue with their customer service or been rude to any of their agents.
He said the way I politely greeted and approached him that day didnโt match what he saw on my profile. At first, I didnโt remember, but later it came back to me, and I explained what had happened with their call centre years earlier. Apparently, that last agent had noted on my profile that I was rude and arrogant.
That moment really stuck with me. It made me rethink how I express frustration, because you never really know how those moments might follow you or shape how others see you later.
If youโre bored and you want to be entertained. ๐ ๐

Nobody do amebo reach her. Just imagine what she did here.
Unrelated, My grandma once told me that in our hometown (Iseyin), when a king dies, they tie his body and drag it to the burial site. Then they remove his heart and cook it for the incoming king. According to her, โo ti jแบน oba niyenโ meaning, thatโs the moment the new king truly becomes king.
Today , I found out the recently killed teacher in Oyo state is the elder brother to a family friend who lives in my family house area.
The statement by the family was put out by the daughter of this our family friend and my mood has been ruined.
Today my mood was ruined.
Many years ago, one of our tenants cheated on her husband. The man caught her and escalated the matter. few days after the issue, the man saw his photo inside her bag while she was going out and the matter escalated more. Few weeks after, the woman poisoned herself and died.
About 5 years ago, a friend showed up at my house unannounced. I was still living in my parents house then, and since he lived in Abeokuta, I assumed he was just in Lagos for something.
Day 1 passedโฆ he didnโt leave.
Day 2โฆ same thing.
By Day 3, I had to start asking questions. After all, this is a married man.
They had been married for about 4 years and were still trusting God for a child. Then he finally opened up. he had gotten a NYSC corps member pregnant and didnโt know what to do.
In his mind, the pressure from not having a child made it feel like he was the problemโฆ and that somehow led to him cheating.
I just told him plainly. I canโt be involved in something like this. I asked him to leave because I wouldnโt be able to face or speak to his wife knowing this.
Funny enough, I just thought about him now and decided to check up on himโฆ only to realize he had blocked me.
Today is the day Iโve been working toward for a long time.
My E-book/Guide is officially LIVE.

My First term result in JSS1 was terrible. I was 16th position in class of 75. Anytime I laugh while everyone is seeing a movie in the sitting room my mom would called me โAlainironu ara Galatiaโ ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
