@BobKalashnikov @FuddBusters If you put a little electrical tape on the extended mag so it doesn’t move around the magazine well they are much more reliable.

@RigdonNancy3 As a faithful member I would say he has paid his tithes. If he gets a part time job sure but as it stands I think he’s fine. Especially since he paid gross income. I always pay net. As in what is deposited in my account after taxes.

@lolnope06 @BYU @BYUCougars BYU is owned by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ. I believe in Christ and I have felt closer to him by reading the Book of Mormon and the Bible. Have a good night, God bless you.

@2kfeez @vigilanteslay Take 4 then wtf?

[Mergers and Acquisitions @Patbatemansdad]

@amalek_destroye @vynttrix @ccont009 Man, if only Jesus Christs church was restored to the earth in modern times and the gift of the Holy Spirit could once more be conferred to mankind. That sure would be cool, too bad though I guess.

[Mergers and Acquisitions @Patbatemansdad]

@TheMercianNews @grok did the man jump in or did he fall in by accident?

@Victoriawrites2 At times in my life my faith was thin or nonexistent. It’s at these times we can rely on the people we love and Christ. I’m good right now and I know that sometime in the future I’ll be in the dark again, and I’ll once more emerge into the light. The church is true.

[Mergers and Acquisitions @Patbatemansdad]

@HiddenXperia Objectively correct

[Mergers and Acquisitions @Patbatemansdad]

@frogarchist I love all the videos you do but I’m really digging this style lately. I know you want to churn videos out faster so if it’s a longer game I wouldn’t mind like a part 1-2 or longer or whatever if it means you can put out a video before you’re done with the game

@Mr_Monopoli You’re insane bro

Here’s what you do:

You wear your garments at all times, removing them only for very specific things you find appropriate to do without them. You keep those choices to yourself.

You don’t get tattoos, extra piercings, wear immodest clothes, or try to draw lots of attention to your appearance. You stay modest by being clean, neat, and orderly both in dress and behavior.

That also means you dress nice for church meetings, abiding by the rules of formality for your culture. You wear what is conservative and won’t distract others from worship.

You show up to church on time as much as you can, and don’t make a big deal about it when you’re late every once in a while. You sit in the middle front-ish and chat politely with those around you between meetings. You attend second hour even when you’re tired.

You don’t watch movies that glorify violence and adultery or detract from the Spirit, but those choices are personal. You do your best, but you keep the specifics to yourself.

You teach your kids that marriage is between a man and woman, and that children have a right to a mother and a father, because that’s what the Family Proclamation teaches us is central to God’s plan of salvation.

You teach your sons that a full mission is expected of them, and that while they should seek a spiritual confirmation, God has told us through living prophets that the answer is yes.

You teach your daughters that motherhood is to be cherished and desired, and your sons that fatherhood is their greatest calling in life. You reinforce prophetic teachings to not delay this vital step, and not delay having children more than is necessary.

When you encounter regular people not living these standards, you treat them with respect. If someone asks you for your opinion, you lovingly but clearly share the doctrine and principles that will lead them to long-term happiness, even if it’s hard at first.

If you’re a bishop or stake president doing a temple recommend interview, you enforce what you need to—you don’t just let major things slide.

If someone online says these standards are useless or that it’s okay to lower them, you lovingly disagree with them and offer your perspective, engaging as a peacemaker should.

But most of the time, you go about your day striving for high standards and relying on the Atonement of Christ to enable you. You don’t draw attention to it, you just do it.

You do what Jesus would do, what we see the brethren doing, and what we all know—deep down—is right.

We don’t look for loopholes.

We don’t make excuses.

We don’t seek happiness in liberation from rules.

We don’t seek novelty for its own sake.

And we don’t look for praise.

We try to be *exactly* obedient as much as possible, and we enjoy the satisfaction of having God’s approval instead of seeking the approval of the world.

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

I didn't want to go to church this morning. I had gotten home late that night, and honestly since I've moved to this new ward I've had a hard time relating to the people in my ward. Everything has felt very more surface level than what I want to be learning in church.

But I went anyway, because I knew the importance of partaking of the sacrament and meeting often with the members of the Church.

And I'm so glad I did. Pretty much everything that was said was exactly what I needed to hear. There were times when someone would say, "I wasn't going to share this, but..." and then quoted a scripture that has a special connection to me and my conversations with God.

I thoroughly believe that when you are tempted by the devil to not go, those are the days you need to go, because those are the days he's trying to stop you from partaking of what God needs you to hear.

I also know that while not every day at church is going to be very spiritualy charged, when we go with a broken heart and a contrite spirit, and a desire to seek God, our cup will always be filled.

I appreciate Tony Gonzales for making the appropriate decision.

I look forward to being the voice of TX23 that our district deserves. From the border, to oil theft, water rights, data centers, and many other issues.

It’s an honor to be chosen and together we will make Texas proud.

People calling Joseph Smith a fraud is ridiculous.

A fraud?

Even if you ignore the impossible doctrinal connections between the Book of Mormon, Doctrine & Covenants, and ancient scripture.

You think a conman gets ripped from his bed by a mob in the middle of the night...beaten, tarred, feathered in the freezing dark....his baby catching cold and dying because of it, and he keeps going?

You think a liar buries his child, wipes the blood off his face, and preaches forgiveness to the men who just tried to kill him?

You think a fraud rebuilds after being driven from city to city; every home burned, facing betrayal, violence, threats to his friends and families?

He was jailed, starved, slandered, beaten, shot at, hunted by governors. He didn’t get rich. He didn’t get comfort.

He got exile, bullets, and a martyr’s death beside his brother.

Who does that for a scam? Who endures all of that for a lie?

Joseph was a Prophet of God.

This time next week, my wife and I will be endowed and sealed members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I want to bear my testimony of Jesus Christ and repentance. I converted to the church in 2014 but went inactive after a bit and removed my name completely in 2020. I was my own boss, I didn’t need a God or a church to tell me how to live or what I could or could not do. I thought I didn’t need my family and I’d be more happy dating and partying. I thought that I could do whatever I want on Sunday and save some money by not tithing. I thought temporary pleasures were happiness and contentment. But then real life happens. Death happens. You realize that life is rough and there is more to life than just having fun. You realize that there has to be more than just living and dying. Everything indicates that there’s an afterlife. I had to slowly regain my testimony. It started by realizing that western civilization had been shaped by Christian values. We wouldn’t enjoy the freedoms we have without those ideas. I became a cultural Christian. I didn’t necessarily believe the truth claims of the resurrection but recognized the benefits of Christianity on society. Slowly, I began to believe in God and began having a relationship with him again. I began praying again and reading the Bible. I began to value my wife and Children again and realize that they are the bedrock of my joy. So, if there’s a God and he sent his son to be a savior… I needed to go to church to worship him… but where should I go? Should I go back to my Baptist roots? Should I go back to where we converted to or should I go non-denominational? God answered by telling me to read the Book of Acts. The Book of Acts convinced me to return to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Its belief of the godhead was consistent with Stephen’s vision. The early disciples went to the temple in Acts. They were led by a prophet named Agabus. They believed in continuing revelation. There was only one church that fit that description. Also, it’s the only church that offers sealing to your family for eternity and has the authority to do so. I was rebaptized in April of last year. I lost friends in the ex LDS community but it was worth it with what I gained. We aren’t the richest people, I didn’t have a suit or tie and my kids didn’t have dress clothes… but we were accepted like we never left. Thanks to Jesus Christ, we will be endowed and sealed. It’s been an amazing year and I want to invite everyone to come back or experience for the first time The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. You don’t have to be perfect, you don’t have to be the best dressed or richest, you just have to try. You just have to lean on Christ and atonement to be a little better each day. It’s true joy. It’s lasting peace. It’s happiness that isn’t predicated on whether temporary things of the world. I believe in Christ. He lives! He restored his church and it’s an open invitation for everyone to have your lives changed and begin on the covenant path. This is the path of happiness and I can personally testify to that through lived experiences. Thanks to everyone on X for continuing to encourage me and my family and for seeing us through to our endowment and sealing. I love each of you and encourage you all to bear your testimony and share the gospel because everyone can experience this! #LDSx
