Rashid Shaheed’s Best Ball ADP has puzzled me almost as much as the Seahawks usage of him last season
- 140.1 ADP (WR58)
Shaheed went from a lucrative WR2 role with the Saints to becoming more of a sacrificial X/special teams player on the Seahawks
Shaheed Metrics on the Saints (Weeks 1-9):
80.3% Route Share
7.3 Targets/G (WR16)
55.4 Receiving YPG (WR27)
11.7 FPG (WR30)
13.4 XFP/G (WR19)
Shaheed Metrics on the Seahawks (Weeks 10+ including playoffs)
63.1% Route Share
2.8 Targets/G (WR76)
22.2 Receiving YPG (WR70)
4.4 FPG (WR77)
5.5 XFP/G (WR74)
Competing for targets with Jaxon-Smith Njigba is going to continue to be an uphill battle, but any vocalization of an increased role in the offense makes him an enticing selection at his current ADP
- I find it hard to believe that a 33-year-old washed Cooper Kupp can bring more value as the WR2 of this offense than Shaheed
Metrics per @FantasyPtsData
@RB1_FF Yea it’s good for the run game overall
But, I think there is a lot more chance this is a 50/50 split now, which hurts Kyren. There were many games last szn Kyren’s usage went up due to negative game scripts or close games
Myles guarantees there’s going to be less of that imo

Bombshell: The Browns are finalizing a trade that will send two-time Defensive Player of the Year Myles Garrett to the Los Angeles Rams, per @rapsheet, @TomPelissero and me.
In exchange for Garrett, the Rams are expected to send Pro-Bowl edge Jared Verse, a 2027 first-round pick and other draft-pick compensation still being negotiated to the Browns.
