@BrainAblaze Yes. They treated them seriously when I was born w/ CP/Epilepsy/Hydrocephalus from a stroke in utero & in 2019 when my meds died on me for the first time in a decade.
@WhatHurtsNowEgg@BrainAblaze My mom did the same. Like, I have rescue spray within hands reach & auras. No need to worry as long as someoneโs close by! ๐
@BrainAblaze@FloppinZack@DCClifford A helmet pressure I canโt take off, panic like I missed a step & then I administer rescue spray (5 years ago, Iโd drop & flop).
@BrainAblaze Auras, the fact thereโs many many different seizure types even though I have the medical show kind, that anything can happen during a seizure, & thereโs nasal rescue spray now to avoid all that which you should ask your doc for.
@BrainAblaze Neurosurgeons were the first giving me advice after shunt revisions when I was little prior to neurologists. Everyone else has snake oil cures.
@BrainAblaze Mine brought it up right before we decided on Briviact at last (which we shouldโve tried first since I was on Keppra). He brought up surgery & SUDEP which I said was unnecessary as I have decades of records.
@BrainAblaze I take pics to remember what I ate, write everything down & film when necessary. Another thing #CerebralPalsy & #Hydrocephalus taught me to adapt to
@BrainAblaze Understanding that Every. Body. Is. Different thanks to @kaileyh175 & others & remembering that I usually donโt seize if my meds are correct (Unlike last year w/ the pharmacy error & pandemic).
@sweet_panda5@BrainAblaze There was someone who wanted me to move where the weather wouldโve been a problem for my spastic/ataxic CP by saying itโd โJust be us.โ Like, no way was I leaving my docs etc for someone w/ no medical literacy pre reflex seizures. We need to put our health first.
