it’s heartbreaking to read something like this happening in my hometown at 2 in the morning. habang ako kumportable sa bahay with all the resources i will ever need only 1km away, without any threat to my home looming overhead, these people need to climb down the mountain everyday to defend their ancestral land.
i hope this will get more media coverage like pax silica. 😔
kilala natin kung sino ang maaapektuhan ng mga ganitong projects, we see them in the mirror everyday—kapwa nating pilipino who aren’t as privileged as we are, but they’re filipinos nonetheless and they have every right to protect their ancestral land.

what an out of touch perspective, just because kaya niyo yung situation, it doesn’t mean na ganun din sa ibang tao, lalo na sa mga kinakailangan pang bumyahe sa malayo. privilege check po?
