Just another political adviser in the nations capital! Love good coffee, good music & good people. I'm opinionated but all opinions are mine and no one elses!
Today I addressed the G20 Foreign Ministers meeting in Rio De Janeiro and highlighted Australia’s support for Brazil’s ambitious agenda and how we will work constructively to pursue global economic growth amid ongoing international tensions.
BREAKING: The Greens have just voted with the Libs/Nats in the Senate to prevent a vote this week on Labor’s Housing Fund that would see 30,000 social & affordable houses built.
It makes no sense that the @Greens would block these laws from passing parliament this week!

🌎After 10yrs of chaos & division under the Liberals & Nationals, the Senate has just passed the Albanese Govt’s Climate Bills with amendments.
This is what you get when you have a govt willing to take action & work with others across the Parliament to deliver for Australians🌎
The devastating floods we're seeing come after years of climate denial from the Coalition.
They've then set up a fund pretending to care about disaster mitigation & actually haven't even spent a single cent.

With nearly $8 billion in taxpayer money revealed this week to be lining the Liberal party's election warchest, there are nearly 8 billion reasons for a National Anti-Corruption Commission.
Only Labor will legislate one.

I just asked Senator Birmingham if he knows who is about to get sacked from Scott Morrison’s Cabinet.
He seems to know the answer but wouldn’t say… #auspol
We've got a Defence Minister considering calling in the military to aged care facilities and that's still not a crisis to @ScottMorrisonMP and @richardmcolbeck.
#auspol
In the time that @richardmcolbeck has been aged care minister, 1438 residents have died due to COVID, facilities have been locked down & 1000s of workers have been working double shifts or forced to isolate.
Yet Minister Colbeck says he doesn't believe the sector is in crisis👇
.@latingle asked the PM if he was sorry for:
🌴Going missing in the bushfires
💉Vaccine rollout bungle
📦Not ordering RATs early enough
❌NDIS broken promises
He could’ve used 2 words: I’m sorry.
Instead he used 894 words to do what he does best - never taking responsibility.
These contracts are the latest example of why the Morrison Government’s so-called ‘living with COVID national plan’ is a complete failure and not worth the paper it’s written on.
How could Scott Morrison have left it until this week to order the rapid tests Australia needed?
🚨Breaking🚨Right now in the senate we again have the Morrison Govt voting against moves to bring on debate & vote for an anti-corruption commission. What’s Scott Morrison so scared of?
Labor’s voting to bring on debate & a vote. We need an anti-corruption commission now.
Happening now in the Senate: Labor is backing moves to try & force the Morrison Govt to debate a bill to create an Federal Integrity Commission today. Unsurprisingly the govt is opposing the motion.
The PM promised a integrity commission 1077 days ago but hasn’t delivered.
Cosying up to violent extremists & saying that he understands their frustrations is a new low for Scott Morrison... and that's really saying something when you think back on the rorts, scandals + political mismanagement that have plagued this tired old govt for the last 8 years.
