Elon Musk spent $290 million to elect Trump. It paid off.
Since his election, Musk got $696 billion richer & became the world’s 1st trillionaire.
But that’s not enough.
Now, Musk is spending $366 million to keep Republicans in control of Congress.
STOP MUSK. STOP OLIGARCHY.
In 2023 Japanese shuttler Nozomi Okuhara did not get transport after reaching Cuttack on Monday for the Odisha Open. She waited four hours to check in and was not given a shuttle or car for her 8 am practice. She posted on social media. India was shamed and Japanese voices tore into the hosts. The actual issue was that the Japanese athlete side never sent an email with their logistics and that was the reason delay. India’s BAI still apologised and put it in writing that it would not happen again.
Now look at Japan. They are hosting the Asian Games and have messed up the whole setup. Not just Indian athelete but Many are facing the same mess. They should not have been given hosting rights if they did not have the capacity. They got them anyway. Athletes were left stranded in Nagoya for more than 12 hours with no rooms ready. Cruise ship cabins also took hours. The athletics team reached Tsukuba on Sunday and waited over four hours just to check in. Next morning the hotel said breakfast was never booked, so some players went without food. Some players were staying in their own tents, Malaysia athelete were sleeping in the airport, The team bus then failed to show up on time for training. Players are split across three hotels, more than four kilometres from the training venue and from meals. Sports nutrition and even regular fruit are already a problem. Still no proper communication. No updates. How interesting!!
#WATCH | Delhi | On the death of a 15-year-old teenager due to alleged delay in treatment at AIIMS Delhi, father Mukesh Pariyani says, “…I had come to AIIMS, Delhi, for my daughter's treatment. I visited for the first time on October 10, 2012, to the OPD. After that, I went to Room No. 14. From there, I was referred to Room No. 18. Some initial tests and examinations were conducted by Dr Kothari. This process took about a year. Then, I was referred to Dr Sachin Talwar in Room No. 4. Dr Sachin Talwar asked me to deposit the money and blood, assuring me that he would operate. I deposited the blood and money on April 4, 2014. After the OPD visit, I was given a date for the operation. When I went on September 2, 2015, I was told the operation would be done after Diwali… I tried contacting them after January 4, but I was given the runaround; they kept saying the operation wouldn't be done just yet and kept postponing it… After that, following another OPD visit, I lodged a formal complaint with the PMO… After the complaint was filed, we received a call from the hospital asking us to come in so the surgery could be performed. Dr Sachin Talwar called us but then refused to operate, stating that unless the complaint was withdrawn, he wouldn't proceed… We made several rounds back and forth, but they kept putting us off, saying they would do it later and telling us to come back another time… In 2018, we were asked to get the necessary tests done. Despite the examinations, we received no response, nor were we informed about the nature of the illness. I went again in 2023, but they refused to operate... Then, in 2025, we filed a complaint again… Then we were asked to come on July 28, 2025. When we went, the doctor was on leave… They then said that the child would manage on medication alone and had no issues, and they just sent us away like that. After the medication was prescribed on the OPD card, I called and lodged a complaint on February 9, 2026… They kept running tests, but the operation never happened; they just kept running tests… My child passed away. Who is responsible for this?.. If my daughter could have been cured through an operation back in 2015, 2016, or 2017, why didn't they perform it? I want the strictest possible action to be taken… I demand an inquiry; I want justice…”
A 15-year-old #Kota girl who had been visiting #AIIMSDelhi since the age of two for a complex congenital heart defect #died at the hospital early Tuesday morning, 14 days after TOI reported her family's long #wait for corrective #heartsurgery.
Tanvi was admitted to AIIMS over a week ago after TOI highlighted her condition, but she could not be saved. TOI had reported on August 18 that she had been making rounds of AIIMS for over 13 years, with her father alleging that surgery dates were fixed and later changed but the corrective procedure never took place. @timesofindia@MoHFW_INDIA@JPNadda@aiims_newdelhi
My pain aggravated today, sorry:
Ansals was supposed to pay 22,006 crore to creditors.
Subash Chandra jumps in and proposes that I pay 6.5 crore to the creditors, and the settlement is approved by NCLT.
Wow!
I bought a flat in 2010 from Ansals and still have not received it, as Ansals has defaulted.
For 16 years, I have been waiting and have taken a loan from LIC Housing Finance.
I kept begging LIC to stop taking my EMIs, but they always told the guard to show me the exit gate.
If you are a salaried middle-class guy, trust me, no one is coming to save you!
Not a single leftist is speaking for Ganesh Chakraborty's Hindu family. His wife and daughter were raped, stripped, their faces burned with acid, and his daughter's eyes gouged out by Bangladeshi Islamists. His 12 year old son was forcibly circumcised and Ganesh himself was brutally killed.Their only crime was being Hindu.

Was at Manipal Hospital yesterday for a dermat checkup and heard a child crying for his mother from one of the top floors. I think she had just passed away. The cry was so shrill that the whole hospital went silent.
I genuinely don’t understand what the thought process was behind having a rave/party in a hospital. It’s just deeply insensitive. If you’ve ever had someone you love admitted and spent days going back and forth to a hospital, you’d know exactly why.
#BREAKING Journalist Abhishek Upadhyay, who broke the news regarding Ram Temple donation theft, moves the #SupremeCourt challenging the Ghaziabad FIR registered against him over an alleged road-rage incident.
He alleges that the FIR is based on concocted allegations and is an attempt to harass him for his independent journalistic works. He contends that the complete FIR copy has not been supplied to him or uploaded and that the police were forcing nearby shopkeepers to delete the CCTV visuals of the relevant time.
He seeks quashing of the FIR, or in the alternative, its investigation by an agency other than the UP Police.
How effortlessly they've managed to provide a beautiful, well‑designed ramp for the President, though she could have easily managed without it.
But why the same Railways fail to provide even a basic ramp for wheelchair users like us, so we too can board and travel with dignity?
Very disappointed with the management at AIIMS Rishikesh. My uncle in critical condition was denied emergency admission. Despite being unable to walk, the staff also refused to provide a wheelchair to help the patient reach the OPD on the 2nd floor. This is unacceptable. Patients deserve timely care and basic human dignity.
If anyone can help please DM.

@Mononofu@JensenHuang This is a false equivalence. Everyone has the right to keep their code private. The problem is when someone tries to stop OTHERS from open sourcing.
For millions of children in our country, education remains the only path to a brighter future. Every developed nation is built upon a strong education system and a transparent, credible examination process. India too has made remarkable progress because of the strength of its education system. It has nurtured generations of brilliant doctors, scientists, engineers, teachers, and innovators who have shaped modern India.
Today, however, trust in this system stands broken. The damage goes far beyond a failed exam. It shatters faith in the very foundation of education system. It tells deserving students that hard work no longer matters, and robs them of their only ladder out of poverty. A nation that compromises the integrity of its examination system, compromises its own future.
This grave issue, affecting millions of students across the country, must be taken up in Parliament as the highest priority. It deserves a thorough debate in the temple of our democracy, leading to concrete reforms that ensure paper leaks, flawed assessments, and systemic failures are never repeated. Accountability must also be fixed for this lapse of trust.
Politics aside, I urge the government to initiate a meaningful dialogue with the students who have been peacefully protesting for days. They must be given a platform to express their views. A vibrant democracy advances through dialogue, not silence—and this dialogue is most vital when it involves the youth of the nation. The children and young people of India are looking to us for leadership. We cannot fail them.
Sincere, open-minded dialogue with the peaceful youth protestors will help restore faith in our democracy, in our education system, and in the leadership entrusted with shaping their future. @bjd_odisha stands firmly with the youth and students of the country.
I have lost faith in Safdarjung Government Hospital.
The hospital told us @Wangchuk66’s potassium had dropped to 2.9, describing it as alarming and life-threatening. Yet, in its public health bulletin, it conveniently omitted the actual number, referring only to "decreasing potassium levels." When after 10 hours and repeated requests, they allowed us to take samples of his blood at 10.30 pm, an independent laboratory test reported 3.5, well within the normal range.
Despite repeated requests, the hospital has refused to discharge him or allow us to shift him to a private hospital of our choice. With around 30 police personnel stationed on our floor and well over 100 across the hospital, our movement is severely restricted. It is not medical care. It is illegal detention.
If anything happens to Sonam, the hospital authorities and the government must bear full responsibility.
I have therefore moved the High Court and sought an urgent hearing today, praying for permission to shift Sonam before his health deteriorates further. No family should have to fight the system simply to choose where their loved one receives medical care.
I am at Safdarjung hospital in Delhi where @Wangchuk66 has been admitted. Nothing should be administered to him orally or intravenous without take consent from me, his family and his doctors who have been monitoring his health for the past 20 days.
Safdarjung Hospitals report says @Wangchuk66’s potassium level is 2.9 whereas just yesterday it was 4.3. They are not allowing me to either get a second opinion by taking him to another lab not are they giving me his blood sample in my presence which i can get tested elsewhere. I have been waiting since 3 hours but they haven’t obliged us yet. This lack of transparency is making us suspicious and we have asked to be discharged immediately so that we can go to a hospital that we are comfortable with. We are awaiting their response for the last 2 hours
#Watch | Sonam Wangchuk's hunger strike entered its 18th day at Delhi's Jantar Mantar as concerns over his health intensified. Despite appeals from Opposition leaders, celebrities, academics and over 1,800 citizens, Wangchuk refused to end his fast, saying the government should open a dialogue instead. The protest demanding Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation continues to gather momentum.
