the line that matters here isn't the Tesla. it's "i still have no idea how to use blender."

that's the whole shift in one sentence. Grok 4.5 running inside Cursor, driving Blender, and the person steering it never learned the software. the interface was the barrier for almost everyone, and it just stopped being the entry requirement.

the part that doesn't get said: not knowing Blender also means you can't review the output.

the render can look right while the topology is a mess, the scale is off by a factor of ten, and the mesh falls apart the second the camera moves. those are exactly the things a still frame hides and experience catches.

so it's a real shift, just narrower than it looks. you can now build something in software you've never opened. deciding whether it's any good is the same job it always was.
