@adamrayon@theheraldsun There was even a news article late last year interviewing several rural school bus drivers who expressed grave concern over rural bus routes being unsafe for use.
Another article featured police condemning graffiti artists for drawing penises on pot holes stating safety 🤦♀️
@adamrayon@theheraldsun You’re joking, right? We certainly didn’t need a “welcome to Victoria” sign to be able to tell we’d crossed back into Vic from SA last October. Instantly awful.
Once upon a time I would have agreed but outside Melb atm is horrible.
@australian Volunteer firefighters have been blasting the Allan government about exactly this for months for exactly this reason. Right now as we watch our loved ones in the path of very real danger (or ourselves) it just feels really close to the surface. People are angry and rightly so.
@jebcorliss@Inevitablewest This graph seems to show the incredible success of K-pop demon hunters, but it ends with September. The event this post is referring to occurred on 30 September/1 October, so this graph doesn’t actually show the period in question.
@plainjane130632@senatorbabet Let’s be really clear here… Charlie Kirk debated ideas with words. Noone was forced to listen to those words. And self-harm is just that - SELF harm. The person who causes the harm is the person receiving the harm. Blaming others bc of their words is a serious slippery slope.
@Maddi0578PG How come the dad is only just finding out now? Where you been for the past 12 years of their schooling? Their struggles with spelling should have been identified years ago when you attended their parent teacher conferences, listened to them read and practice for spelling tests.
@PaulZenon@rev3and20@nogulagsagain He was meek (strength and power under control). There was nothing mild about him. He pissed off the establishment enough that they bribed people to lie about him so they could have him killed.
@minagelina1@JustCruisinToo@Holden_Culotta Both is true. I’m a mum of a quirky high functioning kid. It’s still hard, but nothing like yours. I get awareness and celebrating difference, but that doesn’t make it ok to dismiss your child’s ASD because that narrative is inconvenient. Bring on answers.
@9NewsAUS Let me save everyone the clickbait and actually give you the important information because safety matters.
Bagged Baby Spinach from Aldi sold in QLD and some stores in northern NSW found to contain bacteria that can cause illness.
@RealRetroRebel@LibertyCappy Definitely the Great Helm. But that’s because I’m Australian and this design is reminiscent of the great helmet worn by our most beloved, brave and noble knight, Sir Ned of the house of Kelly. 😉
@BrandonC204 @antlancs @Inevitablewest@DavidLuckyMe Except the event happened in the UK. 75% of houses in the UK are brick. 99% was an exaggeration. Point was, the guy didn’t have a knife, hence why no one needed to hog tie him. He was just a brickie with a trowel trying to do his job. But he’s brown so someone assumed & panicked.
