@australian Volunteer firefighters have been blasting the Allan government about exactly this for months for exactly this reason. Right now as we watch our loved ones in the path of very real danger (or ourselves) it just feels really close to the surface. People are angry and rightly so.

I get awareness and celebrating difference, but that doesn’t make it ok to dismiss your child’s ASD because that narrative is inconvenient. Bring on answers.
