@RoyWessex@DPJHodges@TiceRichard Seriously. Anonymity is a hell of a drug but it's rotting your brain. You need to spend less time online.
Assuming - big assumption - you're a real person.
@RoyWessex@DPJHodges@TiceRichard Known neo Nazis attacking the police and rampaging through people's neighbourhoods. That violence.
Society - all of us - has condemned the killing of Henry Novak by sentencing the perpetrator to life imprisonment.
@SimonMagus I'm glad someone on this platform isn't nuts. It's astonishing that someone with an academic job at a relatively fancy institution is pushing cultural Marxist type conspiracy theories (but in a pan loafy style).
@DPJHodges This site - a huge number of accounts on it - would have us believe that a majority in this country approve of mobs throwing rocks at the police. I doubt it. We'll have to see how it goes.
@AllyFogg It seems slightly less bad. For a while when I logged on there was Tom Forth trolling Anglo futurists, Hodges arguing with Reform activists, and some football journalists I follow.
Just caught up with the story about Pat McFadden, the secretary of state responsible for social security, complaining about his MPs asking him about how to pay for social security.
@DPJHodges He's actually been quite positive, talking about stuff he wants to do - social care reform, public control of stuff, housing. I mean, whatever anyone thinks of any of it - and it's clearly not fleshd out - it's not zero.
@grahamchatterl2@Wheeler9961@michael_merrick I'm not convinced that the game of cricket should be organised around potentially shifting administrative boundaries. It's fine with historic counties. I mean, Middlesex doesn't even exist.
Fwiw, my team Durham would probably be financially better off in e.g Sunderland.
@thomasforth Yeah, interesting. Mind, whatever questions there are for Burnham about Manchesterism, I'm not sure economic activity being clustered in the urban core is a gotcha.
@DPJHodges Accidentally being Facebook friends with fascist organisers hasn't had enough attention imo.
Is that something that happens to normal people?
