Hey everyone. Made this account so I can interact with CSGO people easier.
Going to sticky this so I can reply with a list of all my crafts in a thread:
Submitted some rare cards to Ace in April and was lucky enough to get the 1,000,000 cert. Got to meet Randy and the team, happy to have a quality option for grading in the UK that does not rip your eyes out on upcharges!
@SwollenFistSoap like half my collection. but they have unique stickers. i dont think you will see many oldheads selling souvs for new prices. categorization mess
valve clearly trying to violently rebalance large outliers in their market, in this case old souvs still have unique stickers but they no longer have unique categorization. so it becomes more niche and requires more knowledge to know they exist. but does not destroy them
there's speculation about the "mint graded" wording, but it also says "counterstrike 2" for the csgo stickers so
although i appreciate damaged removed stickers could be a reasonable compromise
This week, $50,000 worth of my items were reversed. The new trade reverse system is fundamentally flawed. It punishes liquidity providers who buy during volatility and rewards panic sellers who exit early and reverse when prices recover.
In the future, this could lead to even bigger spikes when the market moves downward, as thereโs less incentive to take risk during uncertainty.
For smaller players buying the dip has become nearly impossible. The system removes opportunity and pushes activity toward the Steam Market, which is now the most efficient option for regular players.
Market rules must change.
getting hit with reversals, likely the people reversing will just end up selling again for a lower price as it damages confidence in the market functioning properly
I think you can probably fill a few mil $ of liquids here and cash out 3x next summer. market confidence is fickle and valve may seek to reassure the market after this reaction. main hurdle is not having trades cancelled after 7 days in times of significant volatility.
