@BlackDragonRPGs I don't know if there is an in-game reason but I feel it was used as a balancing tool in the past.

With light sensitivity now being light blindness, causing at best to have every creature concealed while in bright light it hardly feels fair compared to other playable ancestries.

@KalabethTaleros It is one more thing to track and I can understand not being into it!

But to me it does feel like it gives my players more agency and makes encounters (combat or otherwise) more dynamic.
