It's #GivingTuesday!
For families who cannot afford high school tuition, paying for field trips in Belize or abroad is out of the question. But retreats, field trips and summer trips to other countries help students decide who they want to be and what they want to do with their lives.
This Giving Tuesday, we are raising money for our Leadership+ students to immerse themselves in learning opportunities outside the classroom. Money is the only roadblock these bright and curious students have in their educational journey; we want to clear the path for them and we need your help to do that. Please consider a monthly gift of $25 that will give access to ongoing extra-curricular opportunities like our STEAM programs, collaborations with colleges like Michigan State University, Youth Theology Network experiences in Boston and local trips that help students imagine what's possible for them professionally and how they might reach their God-given potential.
You probably won't miss $25/month; these students won't ever forget it.

Tomorrow is #GivingTuesday
What we want for our own children, we want for children in Belize, including every opportunity we can give them to grow into who they were created to be. Families who cannot afford tuition cannot even imagine paying for additional educational experiences, much as they might want to. We don't want students who are curious and drive to be limited in what they experience. This Giving Tuesday, you can open limitless doors for them to walk the path to graduation and explore opportunities in Belize and beyond.
Find out how, tomorrow!

Today, on All Saints Day, I'm thinking of Saint Josephine Bakhita. Her life is such an incredible example of resilience, forgiveness, and deep faith. She faced so much hardship but found freedom through her faith, choosing to serve others with a heart full of compassion. Saint Bakhita’s journey shows us how powerful love and kindness can be in transforming lives. I hope her story inspires us all to walk with gratitude and grace today.

Our Executive Director and Board Chair rode their bikes 65 miles to raise money for PathLight this past weekend. Thanks to their incredible efforts, they've raised over $20,000!
If only we could convince them to ride that far every weekend, we'd never have to ask you for money again!
Last week, the Prime Minister of Belize's wife, H.E. Rosanna Briceño, visited our Orange Walk Resource Center. What an honor to have her visit us and recognize the life-changing work that PathLight is doing in Belize!
PathLight doesn’t just help students get a seat in school; we offer them a seat at the global table. From travel opportunities, education abroad, partnerships with universities in the U.S. and beyond, our students are trained to become leaders in their communities and beyond.
Case in point: this press release from CYEN (Caribbean Youth Environment Network) about one of our PathLight students!
CYEN is pleased to announce that a new National Coordinator for CYEN in Belize will come to office starting Tuesday 17th September 2024. On that date Jadah Wiltshire will take up the post for a period of two years. Jadah takes over from Daril Avila who is thanked for his contribution and service to the organisation and who will be working along with the team in Belize during the transition.
CYEN extends congratulations to Jadah and wishes her a very successful tenure in office!
Meet Herson, a future dentist in the making! He's not just dreaming about it—he's living it. 🦷✨ Right now, he's mastering the art of dentistry administering anesthesia, preparing teeth for restoration, and even developing radiographs in the darkroom. Every step brings him closer to his dream of helping others through dental care.
Herson's life is changed because of his sponsors. And you can change another PathLight student's life by donating today.
