It's #TermTuesday! And we're back to talk about publicity. Publicity is a branch of marketing, but the two slightly differ. While marketing focuses on promoting the book directly, publicity focuses on getting others to promote the book. In both cases, the book garners attention!
‼️Please note: Both marketing and publicity require huge efforts from a publisher's staff. Additionally, marketing and publicity work to ensure their efforts are synchronous and complimentary to one another. ‼️
PAGES is meeting this Thursday, October 17 to discuss Reading the Room: A Bookseller's Tale by Paul Yamazaki!
