BHP is suing MWM to muzzle media coverage of a wage theft case. Why we are standing up to the $300b multinational colossus

The govt still hasn't released the $5 million in emergency surge funding the food relief sector has been calling for to help Australians who can't afford to eat BUT comes up with $20 million for an advertising campaign telling us to use less fuel?
Surely we can fund food banks to help them deal with record levels of demand?

The PM and other major party politicians are getting their figures from the gas industry rather than the ATO and Treasury 🤯
Whose side are they on?
When you try and interrogate these figures from the gas lobby you get “PAGE NOT FOUND”.
You cannot make this stuff up!
Head to https://t.co/dcjuwV2f9S to get involved.
The only way we win this is if the major parties know they will continue to lose votes at the next election if they don't put Australians first.
At this rate, Australia will get to dump US & UK nuclear waste here under the AUKUS deal, get no submarines for $368B, and still not be told where they're dumping the waste or how much it will cost

Here's how to see it and delete it:
Gas companies are under pressure and are peddling absolute BS to Australians. But we're seeing through their spin.
Tragically the major parties keep using the industry’s lines and putting multinational gas companies interests ahead of the interests of Australians.
We deserve a fair return on our offshore gas exports. Simple as that.
A 25% gas export tax won't stop investment overnight or destroy the gas industry (all these arguments were used in Norway when they decided to tax their gas exports) - we’ll just have more revenue to pay down debt, put some in a sovereign wealth fund and fund cost of living relief Australians desperately need right now.

Labor, the Coalition and One Nation all just voted against an amendment I put up to call on the Government to get a fair deal on the sale and export of Australian gas by instituting a 25 per cent tax on LNG export revenue, which is estimated to generate $17 billion a year.
They're running a protection racket for the gas industry rather than standing up for Aussies.
*Senators Lambie, Payman and Thorpe were unable to attend the vote for personal reasons.
And just like that, it’s completely VANISHED from the media.
A sitting congressman, Ted Lieu, said on the record the Epstein files are being blocked because they show Trump raped and threatened to kill children.
Let’s keep this in the spotlight every day
Now that gas prices have spiked 50% in Europe, the Japanese will be making a killing from the 40% of Australian gas they export .. after we export it to them.
Might be time to check in on how that Domestic Gas Reservation policy is going bc our energy bills are about to run
Labor's attempt to further reduce transparency by watering down the FOI Act seems destined for defeat - the fate this bad bill deserves.

We need real reform of FOI to deliver on the public's right to know.
Govt must go back to the drawing board and develop something that works.
More than 2 years after the NACC was established, it hasn’t held a single public hearing. Now we learn the PM pushed to make it harder to hold them.
Public hearings are vital to building trust - the Govt should be making them easier, not harder.

The NACC commissioner is a critical role at an institution designed to maintain trust in our institutions.

One of the highest paid public servants in the country (over $700k/year) shouldn’t be consulting at all, especially not in a way that raises concerns about conflicts of interest.
Commissioner Brereton has more serious questions to answer.
